[Suggestion] Ban Religious Threads

Banning religious threads has been suggested numerous times, and hasn't happened yet. No active threads on banning religious threads in the last 30 days. Here we go again!

I don't see a problem with religion threads, as long as they don't turn into flame wars. But the mods can handle that

Agreed most of the time the thread starter has no particular reason or subject to start the thread but he just does. And they serve no purpose.

If it is related to some recent news article and someone wants different views then its fine but otherwise i agree.

For the most part, the average NB user who creates a religious thread only wants to make the hottest threads.

And if a thread is deemed purposeless, it will be closed by the Moderators, regardless of whether its content is of a religious nature.

true this is a naruto forum but even naruto threads turn to wars
so how are you gonna complain when religion topic does.
wouldnt you consider different clans from naruto basically different religions?

I don't read them. I just skim through and report people for flaming/spamming/stupid shit. By the way, I strongly dislike that "If you don't like it don't read it" attitude of yours.

And why do dislike my 'attitude', or even feel the need to point out that you dislike my 'attitude'? Do you feel somehow obligated to read through and insinuate yourself in any and all potentially controversial threads while simultaneously reporting people whose comments you find outlandish? Because that's kind of the vibe I'm getting, and I'm honestly a little creeped out o.o

^^also how wars start -_- i guess a war about banning war topics is new though. (no offense just ironic) this world is filled w/ opinions, just dont be so critical or sensitive. most people wont say/post nearly half the stuff if things were a face to face convo..you should look at the bright side, a site where people can share true opinions and in the end just know that they are just that and let them go.

Nah, I don't even know him. Some old nobody who stopped spamming somewhere to be a nuisance.

Regardless, other types of threads such as Tobi identity and (well no longer) 6th coffin threads have been banned and they actually have to do with Naruto. Consequently, real world religion has nothing to do with Naruto, and unless it's based on news or current events shouldn't even be allowed in general discussions. Of course, that leaves chatterbox, in which case gratuitous amounts of flaming and trolling would occur. Thus, ban religious threads.

Even though mods closes threads related to religion it continues to get created ,members think that if you create such threads they get entertained by flame wars blaming each other religions.it's better you just ignore such thread.
