Ok i kind of get the feeling that you guys will read this and think i'm talking B.S. but hear me out for a sec.
Itachi said that the only way kabuto can escape Izanami's loop is if he STOPS TRYING TO BECOME SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIMSELF,reading this in the latest chapter made me think.
What if kabuto was to admit to himself that instead of following his own path he allowed himself to be used by people like orochimarau and that while he was around orochimaru he became jealous of him and his abilities and wanted to be like orochimaru and know various justsu and forbidden jutsu and kabuto who knew that orochimaru was dying and needed a new body hence why he needed sasuke knew what orochimaru saw in sasuke and that with sasukes body orochimaru would be able to unlock the secrets of ninjutsu.
Furthermore even though orochimaru believed kabuto was loyal,that may not be true because i believe that kabuto wanted orochimaru to fail at getting a new body(sasuke's body) and eventually die and so when kabuto saw that sasuke had defeated orochimaru and absorbed orochimarus abilities leaving orochimarus lifeless white snake form lying there he felt he hit the jackpot and remembered orochimaru's speech which was:
"If you're not happy with what you have now..........you can just find new things to add to what you've already got. You see i also want to know who i really am, that's why i'm collecting a bit of everything. I'm carrying out experiments and tests on what i collected......and accumulating knowledge and skills. Thanks to that i can create a new perfect myself...i can be reborn. And then once again i start searching for something new. This time..it's you, if you want to know who you are..you can collect all kinds of things and information that are in this world, and you'll be sure to be successful.
With orochimaru defeated and his white snake form lifeless kabuto decided that he now has the chance to not only be like orochimaru but also become and surpass him in every way and collected dna samples from orochimaru,jugo,karin,suigetsu and the sound five which includes kimimaru and infused the dna within his body and thus kabuto's transformation begun not only that but because of how powerful orochimaru was orochimarus dna within kabuto begun to take over with kabuto fighting to supress it but eventually kabuto realised that it was too stong and because of that he gained an orochimaru like appearance his abilities including the forbidden jutsu edo tensei and also gained orochimarus goals which were to get sasuke's body and with sasuke's body possibly learn the secrets of the so6p.
And so with this i guess you could say that it got to the point where kabuto thought of himself as the new orochimaru but more powerful and due to this he became even more confused about his true self and took on orochimaru's identity and powers as his own so anyway what i'm trying to say is that i believe that with kabuto stuck in izanami's infinte loop, because he wants to escape from it he'll be left with no choice but to finally admit to himself that he is kabuto yakushi and not lord orochimaru and will somehow be able to completley resist the orochimaru part of him and revert to his true self which is KABUTO! and with kabuto now himself and not orochimaru he'll realise that no matter how hard he tries he can never become someone else and that he doesn't want to be used by anyone and wants his own destiny and his own path to follow and will finally agree to end edo tensei.
Also i believe either before or after he ends edo tensei he'll tell sasuke about tobi's plans which include the eye of the moon plan and how to stop edo madara if once the edo tensei ends madara doesn't disappear and it wouldn't suprise me if it's something to do with the scroll that suigetsu found in orochimarus hideout then sasuke will ask kabuto what will he do now then kabuto will probably say that he'll help the alliance against tobi as it's the right thing to do because if it wasn't for itachi he wouldn't have made his own destiny not only that but also naruto's words from when he bumped into naruto etc helped him and if he's on anyone's side it's narutos' and that he see's why many people have faith in him and he'll say to sasuke that even though itachi is gone it isn't too late for sasuke to change and he'll go on to say that he's one of the many people who's noticed something special about naruto and that knowing how determined naruto is he'll become the greatest hokage ever to have come from the leaf and that he remembers when naruto, jiraiya,tsunade and shizune confronted him and orochimaru and naruto took a real beating and kept getting back up and vowed that until he becomes hokage no matter what happens he's not gonna die and that naruto's words from then has stayed with him and that's one of the reasons why he admires naruto because of his determination and the fact that everyone whom naruto meets is changed in someway by him and that narutos determination, stong will(will of fire) and his powerful feelings is far powerful than that of the uchiha's kotoamatsukami and izanami and that kabuto also admires the fact that no matter what path sasuke walks and what obstacles stand in narutos way that naruto will not let sasuke disappear from his sights because he still wants to save sasuke and he's never given up on him even though everyone else has and with this revelation sasuke will realise that naruto is important to him and that he won't let anyone stand in naruto's way of becoming hokage and will finally decide that he'll let naruto change him because there's no point in thinking naruto will give up on him and that he doesn't want naruto to risk his life for him anymore which will lead sasuke to want to put things right starting with getting the kages to trust him again by rescuing them from edo madara then help naruto save the ninja world by stopping and defeating tobi but before that i believe that when sasuke and kabuto leave the cave they bump into suigetsu and jugo and kabuto will notice that suigetsu has found the scrool that was hidden in orochimarus hideout and kabuto will explain what the scroll is for and that it could come in handy for sasuke and that they should use the scroll straight away and what might happen from then i don't know but this is just a theoryof mine.
