Is The Power Worth The Price

I see all main antagonist of the series have one common goal, to obtain the renningan for themselves. I admit when it was first introduced I thought "Wow how bad ass" but then I saw what it actually does, basically sucks the life out of you.

How many of you think having the renningan is worth having? (before answering take Nagato's condition at the end of his life.)

I want the Rinnegan so much. That would be my goal in the Narutoverse and if I was actually powerful.

If I had to be a Rinnegan user I would be Madara,cause he has EMS/Rinnegan...only under that condition i'd choose Rinnegan.
As for Nagato,yeah his condition was terrible before his death but not every Rinnegan user would end up the same cause Nagato was a long-time injured(his legs etc).

my goal in naruto would be to become a perfect jinchuuriki not gain the rinnengan but in my opinion, its pretty powerful so yea i guess its worth the price.

nagato was crippled because he summoned gedo mazo and had no chakra to supply it with but his own, aside from that the rinnegan is OP

As far as his legs are concerned, i mean the man had metal rods in his back which means one could have messed up his spine thus crippling him.

Other than Nagato, anybody else with the rinnegan has not shown draw backs of obtaining it so I say it is worth it.

Well,he seriously damaged his legs in the battle between him and Hanzo.
Hanzo used the explosive tag technique so the explosive tags wrapped in nagato's legs...and then detonated.

I wouldn't mind having the Rinnegan. Just don't make the same mistake Nagato did and you won't end up crippled.

Well, Itachi said it was a power of the Sharingan, but if it really does evolve from the MS, then I wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the perks.
