Sasuke will beat Gaara without a doubt in my mind. I just got to prove it to you guys. First I will start by showing you how almost how all of Sasukes attacks pierces through Gaara's so called "absolute defence''.
OFFENSE:

However Kakashi one of the fastest ninjas and has a 5 in hand seals exclaims that it's to fast for anything or to make handseals. While Gaara only keeps a 4 in hand seals. Now this is a hot topic Amaterasu. Gaara never blocked Amaterasu. What Gaara blocked below was Enton.
The way Amaterasu works is that it sets whatever the user looks at on fire. The only way to escape it is to be fast enough to escape the users sight. That is how the Raikage dodged it. He was so fast Sasuke couldn't keep up with him with sight.
