Perhaps, but in a way, it could be flattering to some. Also, could the child perhaps could use this event for the greater good, preventing others from it. And those who conquer trauma, may come out the other side a better man. Don't count the child out of the way just yet!:)

So, depending on the way the child interprets the event decides if it was per say "worth it" in this situation.
Child: A gamble
Baby: A safe bet.
If you're willing to gamble how the child interprets it, it may be benefiting. But there's a risk. :3 It's all up to how daring you are as a person.

Side note: If you like conversations like this, check out the "General Discussions" section, it's (usually?) full of stuff like this :3

Fair enough, there are no laws against it. Well socially and morally but not politics/state wise.

Hey, what's life without risks? Without effort, there are no accomplishments, without love, their is no worth. With uneducated bias, there is nothing... You make a good point however. Yes I agree, we should not gamble, but thats not what I am proposing.

Even if you have a safety net at ground level, no one is going to survive that. I'm sorry but thats just reality. If you do make it then God jumped in and hepled you.

Not if you wait for the building to not be far off the ground! :) If you want to be more precise, a trampoline perhaps?

Ughh, it was more of a rhetorical situation, you usually don't question things like that when having conversations about morals and personality etc. Just saying :3.

Heh, I understand where you're coming from. Curiosity killed the cat

Let me restate my answer: I'm choosing the baby because here's what could happen: the baby could eventually grow into a beautiful female in 20+ years and I'll be able to marry her. By that time I'd be 30 something years old.

Um, good luck with that?

That's saying alot, and those are big "ifs". I would pray no one would be in that kind of situation, but in reality it's not gonna happen. If it was an action movie then I would say yes because the hero always saves the day, but this isn't the case.

I'd go with D. I could care less what happens to everyone else in or on top of the building, I'd rather survive. Also, if I tried saving someone in real life in a collapsing building I'd probably get us both killed. So this is why I choose to save no one, but myself. :)

they would probably all live to be pieces of sh*t anyway... but I'll say the baby so I can impress the ladies

"hey babe, I just saved this baby from that collapsing building... It would've died too see... (points to the bodies of the other two) lets get naked"

Three people are hanging off a collapsing building who do you choose?

A: The Baby
B: The Child
C: The Adult
D: None of the above

WHY?!!

The damn baby man. No brainer. Its had the shortest life, and has the least opportunity to hang on long enough to be saved later. The Adult has the best chance of surviving longest on the ledge. After you save the baby, grab the child next and last the Adult. If those were the children of the Adult I'm sure they wouldnt complain about your choice selection. FYI

D.

The Adult could be Hitler or some other villainous person.
The Child could be a Future Hitler.
The Baby has potential for evil as it grows older.

Also because we all die in the end.

child.
the baby doesnt know what's happening........
the adult has lived more of its life than both.
the child has a lot of potential and knows what is happening. i couldn't live with myself knowing that i killed a child who was conscious of what is happening..
