Rep Gone~

Today when I got on my computer and clicked my bookmark for NB (takes me to user cp) I noticed that I had lost 1500 rep points, I was nearing 3000 and was kage, but at the moment it only shows that I have 1500 rep points. Has this happened to anyone else?

From what i've heard, a while ago, a thread was made where people were basically asking to be repped, or something along those lines, which went against the forum rules. And now, all the rep gained in such ways is being taken away.

Not sure if this is the case with you, it's just happened to someone else i know.

Do you have a screenshot as proof? Otherwise there is nothing the administration can do for you. To them it could seem as you are trying to get free rep. Not saying you are doing that but just providing what a mod/admin MAY think.

A few people were doing the rep butter to me, but since I never knew what it was I just ignored it and went with my things. So no I havent asked for rep. In fact I havent repped that many people for about a month now.

I recieved some random rep that said "rep butter" from someone I didn't know. Will everyone that got it have it voided?

Involved with randomly giving rep in aim of receiving in return= rep getting re-setted or shortened. Some victims of last night are Kyon, Majora, Cassiopea and Uzumaki Naruta. The admin can view our rep comments, and are taken action to solve the problem completely.

There's a list of those caught in the action (I have my sources), with/waiting for clear evidence.

is it just random rep given to people? xd I got one of those, but it didn't seem 'random' at the time.

To the OP, to have a complete answer to your question PM/VM either Zise, Rei or Nexus. They are the only ones who can edit your stats thus one of them is bound to know exactly why. However, i suspect it has to do with the Rep Butter issue. If that is the case, they simply removed all the reputation you gained through rep abuse or rep whoring. ​
