Why does Itachi still have Mangekyu eyes?

I don't get it. Why does itachi have his EMS back when he was revived. Technically, sasaku'e eyes are from itachi right. then that means if you revive an uchiha several times them you can harvest his eyes several times also..:flaw:

I think its because the reanimation jutsu is supposed to mimic the shinobi in question with all his physical traits including his technics

Welcome to the base..i guess u meant ms not ems wit edo tensei u are brought back as u died n itachi died wit his ms..it might be possible to farm ms like tht but i doubt it

I don't think it would be possible to harvest ms eyes from an edo, because I think the eyes would have disappeared when removed from the body.

hard to tell noone has been rippin out the eyes of edo's yet, but that seems reasonable that it would disapear when seperated from the edo

As said, it's the MS, not the EMS.

What Sasuke and Madara have is the EMS.

But what would be the point of reanimating an eyeless Uchiha? There are a number of reasons as to why Itachi would have his eyes.

1. For plot reasons. Itachi is stopping the Edo Tensei, which would obviously mean a battle would ensue. It is somewhat likely that Kishimoto brought him back with his eyes for this reason.

2. It was stated that you had the abilities you had in life. This would mean that Itachi has his eyes as technically, he died with his eyes still intact. Sasuke did not receive Itachi's eyes until a little while after his death. I find this the most likely.

3. The user of Edo Tensei has some leeway in the way you are brought back. Meaning that if Kabuto wants Itachi back in a healthy manner, then it would be like that.

4. Kabuto is also a medical ninja. If he was able to experiment on Madara, then it isn't a stretch to say that he could also bring back sight to Itachi.

Forget everyone who said "they are brought back how they died", that was never said. It doesn't even make sense. If I take your dna when you are 10 years old, how would it know what you will look like when you die? Obviously they are brought back at the age the dna was taken. But Kabuto went grave robbing so most of the Edo's dna was taken after they died anyway, and thats how they were brought back.

Kabuto has already explained why they were brought back with their eyes.

This is why Kabuto wanted Shisui's dna, even though both of his eye's were take out before he died.
