itachi was setting up the loop for izanami, thats when he told sasuke to stay away, and when the loop was set up, but he couldnt yet activate the technique he told him to stay close

very simple....after staying close,itachi doesn't like it so the next command is get away....lol

itachi was setting up the loop for izanami, thats when he told sasuke to stay away, and when the loop was set up, but he couldnt yet activate the technique he told him to stay close

actually when he told him to stay close : he was about to activate izanami

but he told him to get away when the Techn was active : Meaning : He told him to get away in Kabuto's mind .. not in reality

I also thought the same thing. That's why i think that Izanami must have a certain range where it's activ. Maybe he said to Sasuke to get away cuz he could be touched by the technic when it's activ.

Anyway contrary to the popular belief, how Izanami works is mysterious, and i think people could be surprise by the next chapter if Kishi explain izanami there obviously.

may be becoz izanami has some area of effect .under which it works same as izanagi .

Basically how izanami works isn't mysterious : The effect is in the victims mind : and i doubt sasuke would've been affected by the Technique since that sasuke
is an illusion made by Itachi in the Genjutsu
