How does Edo Work?

We've seen that edos turn into dust and end if soul gets happy or whatever.
When people touch their feelings they disappear just like Sasori and other did.

I think Itachi will disappear bcuz somehow Sasuke will touch his feelings.

But now seriously why could Kabuto summon Nagato? When he died his soul was fine he trusted Naruto and was willing to die in other to revive Naruto's folks, I mean his soul was released.
Same goes to Asuma who died quietly smoking a cigarette.
Does any one know exactly how this thing works?

My main point is, what if someone dies happy? How will people touch his feeling if he already died happy? Kinda weird.

there are requirements to be satisfied in order for the edo tensei caster to revive someone

one, must have enough dna
two, the soul must not be sealed...

Then Sasori and others can be brought back?

yes they can be brought back as long as they are not being sealed..as you can see....in battling the edos. all of them are sealing their soul so the caster cannot be revived again...

kisame's body could have been sealed that that's why kabuto can't revive him since his body was with guy and bee....or at the cloud country....while konan's body was buried under the sea like that of jiraiya

if not sealed, kabuto might not have enough dna of him though he is a member of the akatsuki....

that's the probable reason why they were not part of edos

or he is not that strong to be summoned by kabuto

or kabuto doesn't like him to be summoned...

no the 3rd hokage cannot be summoned since his soul was sealed by the dead demon seal....even oro, he just can't...

Neither 1st 2nd 3rd 4th can't be summoned they all got sealed.
