A group of Art investigators from Italy have once again re-open an old aged controvesy about the true identity of Leonardo Da Vinci's MONA LISA.

What makes this painting so precious, that it took Leonardo 16 years to finish the painting and why he had to carry it with him where ever he goes, from gallery to gallery.

Was Leonardo afraid that somebody might found out the secrets of the Mona Lisa? If Mona Lisa is Mon Salai, Leonardo knew that he was playing a deadly game. For during his time, homosexuality is punishable by death.

Advance computer imaging comparison revealed that Mona Lisa and Mon Salai have same proportions.

The painting of Mon Salai

Secret letters and number were also discovered on the Mona Lisa painting. Mona Lisa eyes have letter "L" on the right eye and letter "S" on the left eye. Scholars have speculated the "L" would represent Leonardo and "S" stands for Salai.

Also, number "72" was found under the bridge. The scholars believe that the bridge on the Mona Lisa painting is the "Hunch-Back Bridge" of Trebbia river, Italy, also known as "The Devil Bridge". The number "72" would signify 1472, the year the bridge collapsed and reconstructed

The scholar interpretation of the codes will be:

"L" = Leonardo
"S" = Salai
"72" = Devil

"Leonardo's little devil"... Mona Lisa is Mon Salai

Leonardo Da Vinci was truly a genius, from his artistic fascination of the human anatony to the use of mirror writing hide ideas.. he expressed his true feelings on his paintings.

I can agree with all the little things, but in the big picture the two look very different.

The Nose and mouth looks very similar, but the hair (which I can agree can go longer) and the eyes look so different. It might just be the two entirely different lighting of the paintings, but I'm not sure. I just don't know if I can believe those two are the same person.

It was presented in NATGEO: Ancient X-Files, where the Art Investigator used a special program to merge the two photos. The results revealed the faces to have the exact identical propotions.

In that case, it's pretty crazy.

Those eyes just look so far off different, it's almost hard to believe it's supposedly the same person.

Like seriously why can't people just leave art as art and enjoy the beauty behind the picture rather than struggle to squeeze hidden meanings out of things. Reminds me of that south park episode where they wrote a book.

The conspiracy has been around since 1504, for ages people are fascinated with conspirarcy, that's human nature we have to live it.

I believe that these Art Investigators wants to even up the score. Some scholars claimed Leonardo's "The Last Supper" will tell you the relationship of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Thus, by bring out Mon Salai, it will reveal that Leonardo was a gay who had an affair with minor.
