Random Question about Nagato

Sooo is it just me or is it weird that Nagato brought back an entire village to life, but didn't do the same with Yahiko, being emo over it instead? Would have saved himself (and Konan too) a lot of pain and self-loathing, just sayin' xD

That's a good point, but take into consideration the fact that he was being manipulated to use it for Madara

Maybe its because he took a lot of souls away with thingy path that killed shizune or what ever you call her so he was able to restore the lives of konoha by using them

How would he know how to do that damn technique back then. Under this arguement, why didn't baby nagato just resurrect his parents after they died?!? Cause he didnt know how to. He loved Yahiko and he definetally would have resurrected him at that time if he knew how. My assumption is that Tobi taught him how to do alot with that Rinnegan, he originally planned to resurrect Madara with it, I THINK. lol

main reason is when you use this jutsu the user who uses it losses all his chakra and eventually dies and madara or fake tobi was manipulating him to use it on his body but kabuto doing well with that now and if he did use that jutsu why would he use it on one soul and just die he wants to meet yahiko the reason nagato died is cause he used that jutsu

Nah, I think they don't normally die from using it, but it just requires a large amount of chakra. When you use too much chakra, you die. And Konan told him before he revived everyone that he would die because his chakra reserves were already so low, so if he didn't use most of his chakra, he could have lived.

I think by resurrecting 'Madara' it was meant that he was supposed to resurrect Tobi (pretending to be Madara) in case he died. I believe the Rinnegan cannot be used to bring people that died too long ago, they need to have a fresh chakra imprint on this world in order to be brought back. But then again, I could be wrong. That's why i was asking, I'm a bit confused about it too... I guess it would make sense that he didn't know of the technique at the time.

Was the messenger toad revived? If not I say- Nagato could bring only those people back whom he killed himself. He didn't kill Yahiko or his parents.

Also at the time of his parent's death he had not mastered it. Jiraiya tought the trio Justsu after he noticed Nagato had rinnegan.


Nagato said there was still time to save those whom he killed when he came to Konoha.

He didn't/couldn't revive Jiraiya... Makes me wonder how he was suppose to revive Madara. >_>

He probably didn't have it then. A better question (imo) is: why didn't he use it to revive the Akatsuki members when they died? I suppose I could buy him being too far away from them to reach them in time, but still...

Maybe that jutsu is so risky even with his healthy form,,

So he's not using it unless it really needed to do ( and he is using it near his death)
