Its very close because either can do damage. What gives sakura the edge is her chakra infused kicks and punches, but that can nullified with the gentle fist. I do however believe that sakura has the edge because of her strength and hinata doesnt have the reaction feat to continuously evade such attacks.

POWER in taijutsu = Sakura
TECHNIQUE in taijutsu = Hinata



If they fought...? Sakura would win. WHY? Hinata's taijutsu is superior, I will admit that. BUT... Sakura trained under the best Medical NIN in HISTORY. She will be able to constantly heal any wounds inflicted by Hinata. Hinata is not POWERFUL enough to one hit kill Sakura. All Sakura needs to do is SURVIVE long enough to land ONE BLOW. Once Hinata gets hit for the 1st time it will HURT IMMENSELY and she will not be able to heal herself. She literally has to fight a flawless victory in order to beat a powerhouse medical nin like Sakura. Hmmmph.

Gental fist is a Much Better Taijutsu Fighting Style.
