Why does everyone say Sasuke is a giant plot no jutsu?

A while ago i read a post saying that Sasuke was a giant plot of jutsu. Saying that Sasuke would have died if he didn't have plot no jutsu. Don't get me wrong Sasuke is not one of my favorites of characters but theres times when Naruto was saved from Plot no jutsu. You can't just say Sasuke is a giant plot no jutsu but look at all the time Naruto got saved.

Alone Naruto is nothing without the nine tails just like Sasuke is with his sharingan. Without the ninetails chakara Naruto could barely made it past nejii in the chuun exam. He would have lost because almost all of his chakra was lost to nejii but he had the ninetails.



The other part was when he was facing Sasuke in part 1. Sasuke beat Naruto and all he could have done was grab a kunei and kill him right there on the spot but Sasuke didn't.

Another part was when Naruto and Sasuke fought for the first time in part 2. Sasuke prove too much for Naruto and he even went as far as to control the Kyubbi's chakra.

This part was when he face Pain. First of all without the ninetails Naruto would have died but even with it he couldn't beat pain. Well Naruto was about to give away his soul to the ninetails thus reviving the ninetails yet he was saved by his Father, which to me is just bull.



The last thing was when he was fighting with the ninetails for control. His mom had to save his sorry ass no that's the biggest plot no jutsu.




I hate when people Sasuke is a giant plot no jutsu. I mean it doesn't make any sense. Every single character is a giant plot no jutsu. I am not saying Naruto is bad and all but i was just saying that Sasuke's not the only person who got save by Plot no jutsu. I mean Sasuke uses plot no jutsu but you can't say he is the King of Plot no Jutsu.

i agree but the problem is he keeps getting bailed out when hes getting his ass beaten to a pulp. you can expect the 9 tails to pop up when naruto is in trouble but sasuke has a haxed sasanoo, gets saved by teammates all the time and whatever. i think when people say that they just dont like the things i pointed out

There's a couple of things people say on why it's a big 'plot no Jutsu'.

One of the larger one is the fact that he should've died or at least near death against Deidara, the C0 should've finished both of them off to be fair.

Not to mention Sasuke had ''died'' during the Danzo fight if Tobi didnt give him chakra multiple times to continue/evaluate his fight. He saved his ass a few times there..

Well he should be considering he's a main character. The problem is why is everyone getting so upset about it. Sasuke and Naruto are two sides of the same coin. They are both equally important to the manga as each other.

@Bolded: Sasuke would have got royally raped if he didn't have CS. The only reason he was able to be on par with naruto in that fight was because he got bitten by a pedophile. He wouldn't have enven had CS2 if not for the sound 4 conveniently having the pills that let you get it.

@Underlined: It was heavily implied that Sasuke's improvement over the timeskip, was artificially stimulated by performance enhancing drugs. Therefore the improvement he showed wasn't actually his, since he cheated with drugs.

Other times -

Vs. Haku - Haku could of killed him but instead was to kind and put him in a psuedo death state

Vs. Orochimaru - Oro was going to kill him until Naruto turned up and blocked the snake

Vs. Gaara - Would have died if not for naruto's intervention

Vs. Deidara - Apparently was completetly out of chakra, and couldn't even stand, yet somehow managed to summon a boss level summon and place him under genjutsu, yet still didn't die from using all his chakra.

Vs. Itachi - Could and should have killed him (both tobi and zetsu said it), yet he wasn't trying to kill sasuke. Had the battle completely won until Itachi happened to die from illness

Vs. Killer Bee - Got pawned twice, karin just happened to have healing, and juugo just happened to be able to transplant some of himself into sasuke.

Vs. Kage - should have died 3 times, saved from raikages kick by gaara, saved from mizukage by zetsu, saved from onoki by tobi. Also he would not have been able to fight danzo if it wasn't for karin.

Sasuke has been saved by plot way more than any other character in the series.

unfortuately kishi has run out of ideas to keep sasuke in the plot.

So there's always something sudden and our rageoues that keeps him in it so to speak.


COmpare him to naruto's progression, its much more logical and more importantly naruto's powerups are work in progress most of the time so we know what he will prefect or what hes working on for his next bug fight.


Sasuke is like tattslotto. and therefore it looks bad as a reader.

sasuke needed plot a lot more, he was killed by bee many times. mei would have killed him if not for zetue, Ay would have killed him if not for gaara. gaara would have killed him if not for naruto. haku would have killed him if not for naruto. also onoki killed him and he was saved by tobi. danzo would have killed him but tobi saved him.

to the OP, yes whining about plot no jutsu is the equivalent to covering your eyes and ears and acting like something never happened. It's kishi's world and he can do whatever he wants.

Naruto being saved by Kurama's Chakra is irrelevant, seeing how most of his chakra is used to keep the seal in place. Without the seal, Naruto would be able to use more Chakra, his vast amount of chakra due to being an Uzumaki. He also would have had better Chakra control. So without Kurama he would be a better shinobi, of course not as good when he uses Kurama's Chakra. But you can't say Kurama saved him, when without Kurama sealed in him, Naruto would have been able to use more of his own Chakra with better control thus not putting himself in the situation that he needed to be saved by the 9 tails chakra.
