First of all.. Choji has Pills that made him fast To beat That sound dude who had the curse mark... u underestamating choji

Ummmmm Choji would own Jugo anytime, he has the ability to use calorie control without even using the pills that would put him in danger of dying. If you go in the Shippuden Manga of chapter 533 on pg 16 you see him burning his calories and converting it to chakra and the overflow of chakra "leaks out from the backbone and becomes visible through friction with the shoulder blade, appearing like a butterfly wing." With that power Choji is given "100 times his normal chakra level." which by the looks of it is way more than Jugo's chakra level. The "Butterfly Bullet Bombing" attack which you saw Choji use on Jirobo in Naruto when they were young will be way more effective with the experience Choji has, plus Choji's speed is incredibly increases while he is using calorie control. Since Choji can use the calorie control without the pill he can use some of the clan's high-level techniques, such as the Butterfly Bullet Bombing technique several times without experiencing fatigue or other adverse effects. Which means he can do that attack to Jugo a number of times which would be overkill. Then he would go to Suigetsu using Shikamaru as his support! They win! thank you!

Shikamaru would know to get away from the water as soon as he saw what Suigetsu could do. Then he and Choji could lure Jugo away and doubleteam him... not that they need it. Choji would own Jugo, come on. Then they could work on Suigetsu. The answer to beating him... Choji sucks up all the water in the lake like a Green Lanturn fat man.

Choji has the kind of power that can defeat Jugo. Even if he didn't Jugo is stupid when enraged. That's the kind of person Shikamaru can defeat with intelligence.

Team shika have their tactics (stun and bash) but suigetsu could potencially handle both (not beat). They have no knowledge hydrification and if suigetsu bulks up its game over for shikamaru; his shadows won't even catch up to him since suigetsus speed is tecnically increased. Jugo takes care of chouji mid-high diff
