Cuz he is too fast for them. He only needs one contact and the fight is over. Even if he gets caught by kage mane, it's useless since he can simply change his place with FTG to go elsewhere. His only dangerous opponent could be Kakashi and he can't beat Minato. Number doesn't matter.

Minato is tough but I think he would get overrun by numbers. Konoha 11 would lose a few but they prob take this. With Kakashi and Shika heading this battle and the others following their orders, Minato would probably lose.

Only way he could win is if he took out Kakashi, Shikamaru, and Lee really fast before they can form up a battle plan with the rest of them.

Choji- GBM(Rasengan and kunai can't hurt someone the size of Gedo Mazo)
Sai- Take flight
Lee- Speed to avoid it or protect the others by chasing Minato.(Runs faster than Minato)
Sakura-(dies I guess)
Ino- (dies as well)
Shikamaru- (Intelligence saves him somehow)
Hinata- Rotation
Kiba- Goes Giant 2-headed Akamaru mode(also can't be harmed by rasengan and kunai)

He can mark some places and Shikamarus bombs could not destroy it if he even manage to notice when Minato mark his territory. Just to add that Nejis or Hinatas rotation won't work like some people claim. I think Minato's potential is very unknown by a lot of persons in NB.

Like you can see, after kaiten, the kunais are near him. Neji even managed to take some of them. At that moment, it will be easy for Minato to teleport directly after kaiten on one of his kunais who were situated near Neji, and finish him with a kunai or rasengan(at that time, Neji will even be surprise to see Minato just infront of him, so no time to react)
