according to the databook, Temple of nirvana isn't like normal genjutsu... It has a delayed effect activation and a shiniobi can break it in that time through appropriate methods..

Not only Uchihas can cast powerful Genjutsus. Remember when the Nidaime Mizukage took out a bunch of Shinobis 'cause no one was able to something against it.

It is really hard for the users here to acknowledge the Uchihas power. Actually no one has good cards against Itachis mere Genjutsus if you're not yourself an Uchiha or have a Biju inside you. Look at Orochimaru, Deidara and the others, who failed against Itachis mere illusions. And if the talk is about Tsukuyomi, it is even over for a Jinchuriki.

@Owarij, the Genjutsu Kabuto used was in the chapter 114.

when some one is casting a genjutsu they dont shout it out like fire style fire ball jutsu intead it is more of a element of surprise techique when you least expect it and well a good genjutsu user such as itachi it is impossible to break out of it cause he is good at genjutsu and he has the sharingan which is like a death sentence to any normal ninja.unless you are like bee and naruto when your demon can wake u up or go head to toe in a genjutsu battle it's pretty much over.

Yes Twedros, Kakashi and Orochimaru weren't top tier shinobis.
And to correct you, the Sharingan grant you the ability to see through illusions, the Rinnegan itself isn't known for such a thing.

I said having a Dojutsu is a way of breaking genjutsu which is true.Sasuke could see through Itachis illusions where as others like Kakashi and Oro have fallen victim to genjutsu from Itachi that isn't tsyukami.I wasn't being specific to the rinnegan however that being said it is the strongest of all the dojutsu surely it must be able to see through genjutsu as well? The Rinnegan can see Chakra as well another point id like to make is that Nagato has never been caught by visual genjutsu by the sharringan even when Itachi clearly could of tryed it so we will never know.

Superior eyes doesn't mean you can counter all the inferior Doujutsus can do. Or would you say the Byakugans Taijutsu techniques would be useless against the Rinnegan because of its inferiority? No, of course not. The Sharingan clearly possesses the ability to see through Genjutsus, the Rinnegan does not. Therefore only an Uchiha who possesses the Sharingan, can even see through Tsukuyomi, while all the others will fail.

shared vision with the snakes? no such thing was said :S, the snakes were using their tongues etc to pick up movements and heat signals

It also worked for Tayuya's, and when Itachi cut off Oro's hand he wasn't paralysed anymore, even animal path was for a brief moment free from Pa and Ma's genjutsu when Jiraiya stabbed him to kill him. Its supposed to work for all, but nooooo, not Bringer of darkness or KA or clam genjutsu.
