Well to answer your q nagato can simply kill kabuto by every mean's, since he can alway's resurrect him later and use genjutsu on him to release the edotensei

Nagato would wrap things up quickly, he wouldn't be talking a lot with Kabuto either. He would be able to restrain sm Kabuto fairly easily with his and Sasuke's arsenal of jutsu. He could just use human path to steal all of Kabuto's knowledge then stop edo tensei himself.

Or, Nagato might be able to force Kabuto into ending it by attempting to kill him (forcing Kabuto to end it to save his life).

Sasuke's there because he's there in the manga. I just wanted to switch Itachi and Nagato, but nothing else =]

I have to agree with you on the not talking much part =] And as I recall, Human Path was used to extract intel from Shizune; I bet it'd work!

Hmm... I'm not too sure about that. If Nagato has his chakra rods, all he needs to do is Bansho Tenin + non-vital stab. Itachi had to give up an eye to put Kabuto under a genjutsu.

Seems like it would work to me =] and with it being young Nagato (in addition to not having to send a chakra signal), I bet there's an even smaller (if any) delay time between Rinnegan actions! The question is, though, would it really work on Kabuto? :O

I agree that the Human Path would be a suitable replacement for Izanami in the case of extracting the info on how to stop the Edo Tensei But it's awfully dangerous for Nagato to get close to Kabuto, especially if Kabuto's trying to rework Nagato's mind! Could it be done?!

That sound Genjutsu, They would have had no way to get out. Unless.. Nagato has the Paths with him or Sasuke think to use his Genjutsu to cancel it for Nagato.

Plus, Itachi/Sasuke being brothers. Itachi as the older brother is gonna protect him before anything. I don't think Nagato would protect him as well as family would. I guess he could use Shinra Tensei to blow him away.
