If Itachi and Nagato Switched

Okay, so let's put together a scenario, for fun!

Let's say Nagato was KA'd into protecting Konoha instead of Itachi after being restored to youth, and Nagato finds Kabuto and teams up with Sasuke to beat him. So basically, Nagato and Itachi just switch places.

How do you think the battle would fare with Nagato in Itachi's place?
Kabuto has any and all abilities he has shown thus far, as does Nagato (remember, this is youthful Nagato). Keep in mind that this is Edo Nagato, and Nagato and Sasuke CANNOT kill Kabuto. Do you with Nagato/Sasuke or Kabuto would win?

Also, please note that this is a purely hypothetical thread. I do ask that you don't post things like "Not possible", "This could never happen", "Fake and gay", or something of that nature, because it's obviously not an actual part of the manga; it's hypothetical!

I am also aware that Madara apparently awoke his Rinnegan from his Sharingan. Despite this, please assume that Nagato CANNOT use any Sharingan-only techniques (as he hasn't displayed the ability to use them).

He could use human path to temporarily kill him. Then they can have sasuke use sharingan on him the moment nagato restores him to life so that he can't avoid eye contact.

I can't think of a way Nagato could make kabuto stop edo without killing him, but if killing was the goal then Nagato > Kabuto DM.

I'd say nagato, and sasuke, because since hes edo tensei he could possibly preta path all chakra out of him, rendering him vulnerable to sasukes genjutsu.

Sorry, I think this won't do it. Because we are talking about sage chakra..... remember what happened to petra path? Nagato won't fall for the same trick again.

I see it more like Nagato will leave Kabuto wasted and then Sasuke can come in and use a Genjutsu.......

honestly with Nagato it would be easier to kill Kabuto than with Itachi......... But with Itachi is easier to take control of Kabuto than with Nagato.....
