[Discussion] Itachi's true power?

Now that we have seen the almighty power of Izanami, do you think Itachi's strength has been boosted substantially, or significantly? Do you guys think that he is no longer number 6/7 in the Top 10, or has he been raised due to Izanami's true powers?

Give me your opinions, and reasons why you think so U_U

itachi is truly a superb ninja. he has always been 5th strongest to me. madara and hashi are more powerful then him and he said himself that sasuke would surpass him (physically he has... itachi is much wiser and fights very differently then sasuke though) and i believe naruto takes a spot higher than itachi as well IF being a jinchuriki can stop genjutsu of such high caliber. he's master using karama, i think any genjutsu would be unlikely to work on naruto for me than a few seconds, just like killer bee

I think it didnt boost his power so much, cause it can be a useful technique but costs one eye so Itachi wouldnt use it if he was alive and not only an edo

If we rank on possibilities then everything is possible

Since Itachi is the only one in the Manga who knows that ABSOLUTELY every Tech has a weakness.

Doesnt matter how powerfull the oponent is there is allways a weakness in their strategy.

I believe that izanami increases itachis rank in top 10 because he can control anyones destiny. I do believe it works on jinchuriki because kabuto made precautions to avoid being caught under genjutsu and is under izanami after sealing off his vision.

His rank wouldn't change since he needs to prepare Izanami and without plot those stronger than him aren't going to wait for him to use Izanami. He's still 7th for me.

yes but kabuto also is not a jinchuriki. im no naruto fanboy by any means but if i had to guess id say naruto could use kurama to break out of it. thats just how the plot would go, the whole manga revolves around naruto and a move like that would destroy him if it was effective. plot would save him once again.

Where'd Jiriya come into this? He wont go up a rank because people like Naruto and Tobi wont sit there and let him prepare Izanami.

Not that hard to prepare Izanami... unlike Jiraiyas sage mode

it seems to take some time to prepare izanami. As itachi prepared before fighting kabuto.

As for jMan he did juist fine with getting into sage mode without knowing what hes getting involved against nagato.
