no, I think the so called "preparation time" is the recording of the loop itself. izanami didn't took effect until the recording of event was done.

Kind of overpowered in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, of course it's all Uchiha-Trademark awesomeness shit that most people will consider it to be, but still, come to think of it, what if Sasuke would get this ability ? He could simply use it on whomever he wants, like Naruto, and force Naruto to kill himself, release Kurama, kill his companions, and whatnot.

Personally, if this theory you posted is actually correct, and Sasuke DOES end up getting this ability, I would wish for him to use it on Tobi forcing Tobi to remove his mask. Ha-ha!
