I'm debating whether he used Yata Mirror or not because we saw Sasuke instantly go Full Susano'o against the Zetsu, so Itachi might be able to as well.

It is possible I think... I completely forgot about Yata Mirror.
And plus we can't really rate the power because we haven't really seen anything in the manga break a fully developed Susanoo without the Yata Mirror...

lol how can kirin be overrated. Its true that itachi didnt have time enough to activate a full susano and as we saw its after the attack did we see susano forming, but dont underestimate the attack. The fact that itachi who as one of the best reaction speed in the series couldnt full up a full susano should tell you that the technique is no pushover. Combine that with the fact that susano even incomplete is one of the best defences out there, but susano alone didnt protect him. The attack got past susano to rip itachi's akatsuki uniform off, but also he was laying at the ground after the attack. Susano might have taken the sting out of the technique, but it still affected itachi

Lmao now to prove you silly even though u helped me this avatar. nice job btw.
Kirin was blocked by Susanoo we have no proof that Itachi didnt have a full Susanoo up to block the attack we do not even have evidence that if he used yato mirror which i doubt he did but im saying after kirin struck we saw itachi getting up with a Susanoo on, Susanoo first actual appearance was after he got back up and used it again saying "i would not have survived without this move" Look at the links here and see that difference in manga pages.

Page 9 is Kirin hitting the ground.

Page 13 Itachi is getting up.

Page 3 of the next chapter is the picture you used to support that itachi did not use full form susanoo to block his attack. This scene came many pages after the attack of Kirin.

1 thing you are right about is that the damage done towards the enviroment is a great way to make an observation of an attacks power especially one that did not land or was blocked, and i will be using what you said to prove how powerful kirin is.

You gave Kirin the benefit of the doubt that it may have destroyed 2 levels, i think it destroyed more but i will go off what you have played out for me. How powerful do you think a move is if it was BLOCKED but still destroyed two levels of this battlefield:

I personally feel that Kirins force was as wide as all the levels of the Area cause as you can see it stretches that far, but the core, where the majority of the power is would be the same size as the 3rd level if you look and do your own comparison. This leads me to believe that Kirin destroyed 3 levels even though it was blocked but gave damage to all levels if you get what im saying. Therefore an Attack that destroyed 3 levels and damaged several others even though it was BLOCKED everything that you calculated was damage after being BLOCKED and being the case deserves the credit as being the most powerful lighting style jutsu seen thus far let alone being one of the most powerful jutsus displayed by his generation of ninjas.

kirin is powerful but the cons outway the pro's. pro being very destructive. con are its impractical for battle. need special conditions and prep time. it also drains your chakra considerably.
