Time for Orochimaru to come out?

I think all this build up of Sasuke/Itachi vs Kabuto is a stage set for Orochimaru's return. I think what is going to happen is Itachi will be sealed and Sasuke will flee to save himself to fight another day. That is the only interesting outcome I could see.

I would see Sasuke getting pretty frustrated with that result, actually, he's too headstrong just to flee.
Perhaps this will be the stage for Orochimaru's return, though, as I don't think it's articulated on whether the entire spirit is needed for edo-tensei and I would think a bit of his spirit liveson in both Kabuto and Anko. It should also be noted that even with the tailed-beasts, not all the chakra has to be incorporated in order for them to take form, the nine-tails is an example of this.

I bet that Kabuto will fight Itachi and Sasuke. He will get the upper hand over them becasue he's a right dirty player. Then Orochimaru will come from no where and take him out.

I wonder if the seal of Totsuka can be broken if Itachi is defeated (if that's possible). That could lead to Orochimaru returning but I think Kabuto-maru has surpassed him. Sasuke's eyes has been the prime target since the Chuunin arc but either Kabuto is seriously underestimating Sasuke's EMS power or has some nasty tricks up his sleeve..Anko's body and the white snake..Kishi has something up his sleeve in that respect..

Nah, I don't think he is coming back. It has been said that with the Totsuka sword you are sealed for all eternity, and Oro was sealed for good. Or at least his soul was. There is still his chakra around though, inside Anko and Juugo.
Oro's cells did take over Kabuto's body, but not over his mind. He is still himself.

I totally agree. Orochimaru won't be fighting yet, he's the final villain and there are more things about him to come to the surface. There is also the possibility that he takes over Sasuke's body...!
Well, now to those who say "Kabutomaru has surpassed Orochimaru". This is NOT true! Kabuto is an Orochimaru wannabe, he is "nobody" and because of that I guess he will help Orochimaru to return. And when Oro returns, he will have the POWER UPS that Kabuto has now!
P.S. I really wish that when Oro returns he kills that Kabuto, I don't like him at all! (personal opinion, no offence to the less than 10 Kabuto fans LOL).

Oh and about that sword of Totsuka: Oro wasn't completely sealed, otherwise his chakra would not have any effect on Kabuto and the edo tensei. Don't worry Itachi fans, that doesn't mean that your hero will be "defeated".

What would give you that impression? Was it the lack of a flashback for Oro's demise or the fact that Kishimoto has trolled us with a partially transformed Kabuto who has stated that Oro keeps trying to assert himself over him. Perhaps it was Itachi's inexplicable decision to confront Kabuto and how he happened upon Sasuke (Oro's prize) along the way. Anyway, I think you and the rest of the folks that agree with you are just grasping at straws. By the way Tobi is Madara. *Closing eyes and covering ears* lalalalalalalala I don't hear you.
