Did Orochimaru create Madara

I only ask this because in the manga kabuto says that "what orochimaru created is way better than danzou's prototype."

And with that being said, is it fair to say that orochimaru put this MADARA together, and probally knew madara before his dead to retrieve the body..

Not exactly. Madara talks like it was the 1st time he was brought back by Edo Tensei. So if Orochimaru experimented on his body he was never "conscious" during this process. The only name mentioned was Nagato, but he could have briefly been brought back to life by the Rinnegan.
