He said to Naruto when he was training for the rasenshuriken that he only created chidori cuz he could not add his element(raiton) in the rasengan. That prove already he had rasengan before chidori, and that he already had that when he was a kid.

Kaiten blocking chidori or rasengan when it's not even capable to block Naruto's punch? lol xd

Naruto had the kyuubi chakra help him which is way more powerful than kakashi and kaiten thru Naruto back.

I just made the stupidest mistake of my life-_-.. I was thinking there were only 2 parts of Naruto.. The kid one and shippuden, there were 3 different databooks on Kakashi so I assumed the first one was from his childhood .-. *sigh* sorry..

Believe it or not, Neji isn't prone to being caught off guard. He was tricked twice by Naruto, once w/ a simple clone feint (the Byakugan turned on, mind you), and the other while tunneling under ground. Even using the idea that it was a "partial blockage", I don't really find Neji being able to use his hyped "full rotation" when Kakashi is fast enough to make him hope for the best with a "weaker" version. It's especially true if it's a blind-side. Don't buy that a Chidori and Rasengan is weaker than a simple KN0 punch either but meh

If kakashi doesn't have the sharingan, then Neji wouldn't even need to use rotation since he could simply avoid it. If he does, then Neji would still probably be able to use a full rotation in time as it still takes some time for even kakashi to gather enough speed in order to maximize thrusting power.

What neji did other hand during the chunnin exam impressed me alot, why you bring rank into this, if anything makes you look like you desperate

Thirdly kakashi you have to note that even in his prime he cannot use the sharingan for long periods of time, which takes a toll on him, so much so that he cannot use chidori/raikiri after a few times. Kid kakashi obviously would have a much lower chakra reserve than prime kakashi, therefore he also would feel the drawbacks of using the sharingan for long periods of time even more so than prime kakashi.

I'm bringing rank into it because Neji wasn't promoted when he displayed his power and Kakashi was. rank was a big deal in Part 1 believe it or not, AKA 2 tokubetsu jonin was a difficult fight for Sound 4 and any basic Jonin was considered top of the top elite shinobi. Kakashi was promoted to Jonin at that point, whether I sound desperate or not it's fact, and he didn't even have sharingan at that point.

He can simply dodge either techniques. Either that or he could use rotation. His fighting style allows him to seamlessly evade and attack his opponents at the same time. He didn't even have his byakugan activated when naruto came from underneath becasue he thought the match was over due to his arrogance at the time. If he did, then he would have seen naruto below him.

What does he have that can truly overpower his rotation? Chidori won't pentrate this type of defense. Even rasengan will have trouble getting through it. Neji will see everything with the byakugan and take that into consideration when fighting he few clones that kakashi makes.

It isn't predictable and linear like rock lee's taijutsu. That's why they are so different. Kakashi doesn't have the advantage in taijutsu as Neji trains in it his whole life. Kakashi is completely outclassed in this department. His ninjutsu won't give him an advantage because of neji's rotation. He will also be able to see through any genjutsu with the insight of the byakugan.

This match i'm going to give it to kakashi just because chidori was able to pierce the raikage lightning armor so most likely it can for neji defense also. but i'm talking about 13 years old sharingan kakashi without it he'd beat kakashi.
