Jiraiya the Edo? - Read -

Hey, so there isn't really any proof to support this idea BUT

Kabuto has been collecting DNA from all these dead people throughout the Shippuden series and gaining a larger knowledge of the impure world reincarnation jutsu etc,
There hasn't been a lot of explanation as to how Kabuto has been getting all of this DNA, ie - Madara, Dan (Tsunade's lover), Asuma...the list goes on...

So is it possible that Kabuto maybe stumbled upon the DNA of Jiraiya? After all, our last view of Jiraiya was him falling to the depths underwater.

It could be the reason why Kabuto is so confident in his defeat of the shinobi alliance, their main weapon is Naruto, wouldn't the best way to defeat Naruto would be to play on his emotions against his Sensei?

Just a quick thought, what's your view?

As much as I want jiraiya to come back and one shot Edo madara with that frog song genjutsu there is little chance that he is coming back

Probably he has some of his dna but kabuto spoke it himself that J-man couldnt be revived

This has been explained before, Kabutomaru states that Jiraiya corpse was in an unreachable depth of water. He couldn't find DNA

its cool though i agree it would be a good idea to have him return. plot wise it would be amazing to have jiraiya and naruto facing off, and jiraiya seeing the progress naruto has made

Jiraya's body was lost into the sea so Kabuto can't reach it without the sea pressure

Kabuto said he could revive Jiraiya because of the blood on Nagato's Black Rods.

A funny one: Kabuto maybe got Jiraiya's DNA from the bloody tissue he used to clean his nose when Guy hit him with Dynamic Entry. LOL

Yeah, i reckon.
Think about Jiraiya looking at Naruto and seeing that he was right about Naruto being the savior of the world and the one person able to break the cycle of revenge and hatred. It would just be amazing to be able to compare the fight between them although its possible that Naruto may have already far surpassed Jiraiya (Jiraiya cant really merge to ma and pa as an edo can he?)

so yeah, we'll see maybe Kabuto was lying cause that would be sick!

(although i'm doubtful Kishi would want to ruin his grande finally for the Pervy Sage!)

Just because his body is gone does not mean oro never stocked any DNA from shinobi he had hashi's and tobirama's so he probly had plenty.

He said that, but maybe Orochimaru had kept some of Jiraiya's DNA
Maybe it was on the rods that Pein used to stab him with?

We dont know if Kabuto is being honest or not, quite frankly i'd like to have a look at the panel in the Manga where Kabuto says he cant revive him :3

I agree with what kabuto says, but honestly I believe kabuto is lying, or kishi is trolling.
J-man is not in lava, he's underwater. Are you seriously telling me, no konoha ninja, who is jouinin in water style can rescue this guy. Are you telling me that master sage kabuto cant get some technique to rescue this guy...I smell something fishy(pun not intended)

The thing is, Jiraiya didn't drown, he died from Pein's attacks and then he fell to the bottom of the ocean. Also im doubtful there are any technologies / jutsu's available for the pressure received at the bottom of the ocean to retrieve his body, its more likely that theres just some leftover blood somewhere/Oro had DNA or as OhReary stated in some hot tubs ^.^

Whatever the case, we'll find out by the end of the war, i hope it happens!
