Why are you all saying that Sasuke would have never gotten MS if it wasn't for Itachi

(first of all I'm not a fanboy , even though my profile and this thread might look to you otherwise ) .....so let's get to the topic (I'm actually going back all the way to Part 1 Naruto in this thread ) , exactly as the thread's title states , my question is : Why are you all saying that Sasuke would have never gotten MS if it wasn't for Itachi ?

I'm asking a simple question ..

While it is true that Itachi awakened that power for him ....but still why are you saying that ..,when clearly in the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke in Part 1 , when the fight ended with Sasuke as the last man standing ..., he could've killed Naruto to gain the MS way back ( you would say he couldn't because he ran out of Chakra in the fight so he didn't have the power to kill him ) i would say : but he could've just grabbed a kunai or something you know ? ...., but regardless , Sasuke didn't and he couldn't let himself kill his best friend whom he actually acknowledged as that in that particular fight , and he chose to get power on his own way while at that time Itachi had told him time and time again that he "lacks hatred" and that he must " kill his best friend , in order to gain the MS to fight him "

Because...Itachi wanted him to get the ms and have a chance to kill him. If Itachi was evil, He would chopped Sasuke's head off and gotten the EMS

He didn't kill because of he doesn't want it, Doesnt walk in Itachi's Path. He has his own rights, own path because of why he didnt kill Naruto in the end.

Well if you read the manga, you'd know Itachi did not awaken his Mangekyou Sharingan by killing his bestfriend (Shisui Uchiha), so who's to say Sasuke's would have even obtained it by killing Naruto, since no one has yet to gain Mangekyou Sharingan through physically killing their bestfriend

yeah but Itachi did see Shisui die infront of his eyes ..., atleast I think so xd

but actually when you kill somebody , you watch them die in front of your eyes , so yeah

Different scenarios completely for both people, but still the same outcome nonetheless. So I mean it's still highly (99% chance) likely that Sasuke would have gained the Mangekyou Sharingan through killing Naruto, but there's also that chance that the Mangekyou Sharingan may not occur if it's through hatred, since we haven't seen a case like that.

Either way not saying Sasuke couldn't have obtained it on his own, just giving possible scenarios from my own input
