Death Reaper Seal vs Totsuka Blade

i think you mean if they were used against each other who would prevail...

i personally think Death Reaper would win cuz it is a suicidal attack (which are usually very strong)

but i think totsuka is stronger cuz u dont die if u use it

the user using reaper seal will die anyway and you can't see death god so even if totsuka blade pierces the one using reaper seal the death god will do what it has been called for

and plz dont say sharingan can see the chakra of death god -___-

Agreed, however - if one were to avoid said seal; then you'd had given your life for nothing, lol.

So on this note--the blade.

With said blade, (coupled with a crazy Taijutsu speed) it's very hard to avoid...

At the highlighted part, there is an argument in the manga which states that a doujutsu user should be able to see it.

Anyway the totsuka sword by far and tbh its no competition. The fact that with the reaper technique the user die's alone is enough for anybody to see that the totsuka sword is better.

Secondly contrary to popular beliefs the reaper tech doesnt guarantee a draw, if the user is not able to pull out all of the opponents soul, then they die and their opponent gets damaged but they survive. It doesnt guarantee that you can seal all of your opponents soul and oro is a testament. The totsuka sword on the otherhand, if it pierces you there is no two ways about it, you will end up in the bottle.

Lastly the sword itself can be used for its offensive capabilities, able to behead the hydra. It doesnt just have a much better sealing abilities, it also has offensive abilities.

^ this. Know how many souls that foul seal Vs the death god... (unless said sealed soul via death god is in control of many souls in ones bottle ...) but yes, on average - sword trumps god... Funny how that works eh!

If we are talking about the best jutsu in a fight(without looking side effects), i will say it's death reaper seal, cuz the ennemy can't see it, so that makes it much more easier to take the opponent by surprise, and like we can see, Minato can even use it by far distance, so it's definitively better than totsuka which can be avoided, and i'm also pretty sure that the seal is stronger(just cuz we talk about a jutsu that takes the life of the user). But the mainly advantage totsuka has is that it doesn't kill his user even after using it.
