Yata Mirror and Sword of Totsuka

Can the two sacred weapons: Yata Mirror and Sword of Totsuka be used without susanoo?

Oro, is looking for the sword of totsuka but couldn't find it until he fought with itachi that he found out itachi had it hidden and used against him...we all know that oro is not form uchiha nor he has uchiha eyes so, with this prepositions I believe that anyone who holds the weapons can wield them...

Probably anybody strong enough can use it, because it was never stated you needed Susanoo to use it. Especially if Oro was looking for it(clearly not an Uchiha).

he didn't recognize it when itachi was using it to cut off his giant snake heads only when it pierced him and he was getting sucked

Perhaps Orochimaru was only looking for the Totsuka blade since that was the only counter sword for his sword of kusanagi.

kusanagi sword is not that powerful...i think oro knows that totsuka sword is much much more powerful because it can seal and edo tensei can be defeated...

they cannot be used without susanoo just because oro was searching for them doesnt mean that they could be used without susanoo he was also searching for the sharingan but u need to be uchiha

More than likely, it was never stated that they couldn't be used without Susanoo as far as I'm aware.

There is actually more proof that concludes to it being used without Susanoo; although to be fair either side of this argument is pointless as there is no hard facts to either side.

But, it has been said that only a VERY few uchiha have ever achieved the ms, meaning only 3-4 have ever unlocked the Susanoo. They are Madara, Izuna, Itachi and Sasuke. Orochimaru had stated he had been searching for the sword. Sasuke did not have ms at that time. Madara and Izuna were dead at that time. If only Susanoo could wield it, then logically Orochimaru would not have to "search" for it.
