I just finished watching Naruto OVA 9: A Chunin Exam of Flames! Naruto Vs. Konohamaru. Everybody said at the end that Naruto can be a chunin anytime, but Konohamaru said that Naruto is now his subordinate, since he's now chunin, apparently. So what is Naruto's current rank?

He's right, OVA doesnt count as canon and yes, If you have Kurama, rank is not necessary after all

Yeah, he is still at genin rank cos if he wasnt, he would have got the chuinn jacket that konohamaru has. His rank is sage level if you need to know n i guess that like hokage level cos with it, he can protect the village just like a hokage can.
