Why does Jman beat Itachi ?

I keep seeing it and personally i dont agree. First off the one time they faced off Itachi ran not because he was scared as most people say but because he wanted to avoid a fight. Second i doubt sage mode is gonna help, itatchi isnt gonna give him enough time .So give me reasons why that would be possible

I say, "Get over it or forget about it." What cannot determine something that was not fully explain and then compared within terms of Fighting skills and abilities of Part 1 and 2 of Naruto. We know to much information to decide (Itachi). Plus Itachi has shown greater and more feats (Along with weaknesses).

on topic : jiraya has unlimited chakra in sage mode and with his super speed he can dodge itachi's jutsus and when itachi becomes empty kill him.

Itachi alive couldn't match Jiraiya's stamina. It would take everything Itachi had to fight Jiraiya sage mode. Not only is Jiraiya fighting but he has ma & pa to fight with him and its difficult for a sharingan user to cancel out sound genjutsu than visual ones. I'd say Itachi has the more powerful jutsu but Jiraiya is stronger and his experience matches Itachi's genus.

kinda agree but i pointed out that i doubt jiraiyas gonna get a chance to go into sage mode but thats debatable. his best bet is the sound genjustu, and he better hope itachi doesnt get him before that

If it was really that way he would have said "Let's get out of here, we stand no chance", however he didn't say that, he just said he or Kisame couldn't beat Jiraiya which is true. So he has a really weird way of getting Kisame to leave.

In order to beat itachi you have to be smarter than him or overwhelm him with raw power. In both cases jiraiya fails, itachi is smarter and stronger than jiraiya. Also has much much greater feats than him

though im with itachi that kind of logic is flawed, the main reason jiraya lost was because he didnt know nagatos techs, while im sure itachi was familiar with at least a few

What the hell? What "raw power" technique does Itachi have? Chou Odama Rasengan hollows mountains. And when has Itachi ever done anything comparable to remembering words on a specific page of a specific book randomly off the top of your head to form a sentence with those words on your death bed? All of his plans miserably failed.

How is Nagato being sealed relevant, Itachi would have died if Nagato was allowed to move and he didn't have 2 top tier Jinchuriki who both could easily defeat Itachi themselves on his side.

Yeah, Jiraiya would have beaten all six if he knew about their techniques from the beginning, I'm curious as to how Itachi will even handle the first 3.

He said it after the fact when him and Kisame were talking, IIRC
But he wouldn't have ran away if it wasn't Jiraiya, he would have simply said "we stand no chance" as I said

You do realize that...itachi only managed to seal him due to Kabuto's own mistake?

Raw power doesnt necessarily mean physical damaging ninjutsu, but more like finishing moves. A ninjutsu changing fight
