Kisame's weakness is not taijutsu [fact]

Why do people keep sayin that kisames weakness is taijutsu? This is not true.

Kisame weilds samehada like nothing and it probably weighs 300-400 pounds meaning hes super strong and it reduces his actual speed. Gai actually stated that he has superhuman strength and its only his clone.

Kisame easily went toe to toe with killerbee in taijutsu mode and he countered every attack and even dodged the raiton bullet pencil while attacking the giant racoon and others as well. While Sasuke got raped by Bee's taijutsu with his sharingan on.

Gai's tiger afternoon was a surprise to kisame since he thought it was chakra based and so he wasnt really prepared to defend in a proper manner. And he doesnt have samehada which he also uses as his shield. If samehada tanked hachibi v2 form then you already know.

And so with Kisame fighting a taijutsu user like Gai or raikage it doesnt matter if he cant absorb chakra. he doesnt need to since hes already super strong and faster than you think. and use samehada as shield and he has huge jutsus to counter it and he also regenerates.

Gai is not Kisames weakness. It's the same as everyone else. If gai's strongest move hit anyone, they're also fukd. Kisame actually survived his strongest move and he still has more str left than gai. Remember there are only few ninjas that has a lot of stamina; kisame, raikages, naruto, 1st. So if the likes of Kakashi gets hit by Gai goin all out ... he's actually more fukd than Kisame.

I disagree with you. If a person uses mostly ninjutsu based attacks (which kisame does - notice: MOSTLY), then if placed in a situation where their ninjutsu is rendered useless, then they will struggle.

Taijutsu is kisame's counter because kisame's arsenal is long-range not short-range.

He absorbed bee's v2 chakra because it was outside his body. Any chakra outside the body is prone to getting absorbed by samehada.

Gai would whip the shit outta Kisame if they went solely one on one using strictly Taijutsu, fact is if you supply Kisame with no chakra while fighting him he's ****ed, and in that way Taijutsu is his weakness, you just have to be really good, Rock lee could hammer Kisame if he used no ninjutsu, solely because he uses taijutsu, he may not win, but he'd fare way better than a ninjutsu user of similar skill

Kisame's weakness is overpowering him. It isnt speed, taigutsu, or genjutsu!

Its been obv its simply overpowering him.

Example, Bee used V2 lariat to overpower him and samahadra. It worked.. But then he grab sama and healed then merged. If bee would of grabed the sword it could of been over for sama and kisame. Plus bee wasnt fighting at full.

a) It takes time to unleash ninjutsu
b) In order for ninjutsu to be successful, the velocity of the ninjutsu must exceed the velocity of the enemy dodging (both speed and direction) or it will NEVER hit the enemy.

Taijutsu is a counter to ninjutsu because:

a) Taijutsu does not require hand seals, so the time it takes to unleash taijutsu is shortened - which makes it faster to use.
b) It is unpredictable - Gai's taijutsu and tsunade's taijutsu are at a level where you can't, with 100 % certainty, predict the next move - just speculate. With ninjutsu, you can see the hand seals being made.
c) In order to cast ninjutsu, you need your body - taijutsu users can land hits on ninjutsu users that disable them from using ninjutsu attacks (suppress their chakra).

Taijutsu has been shown many times to be more effective than ninjutsu.

Gai isn't raping the world because guess what, there are enemies he faces that are also skilled in using taijutsu.

you dont need to supply kisame chakra for him to fight. he already has bijuu level chakra. the absorbtion is just a bonus.

rock lee lost to gaara and he never uses taijutsu. what more to kisame. who doesnt just rely on ninjutsu. hes got super strength as well. and a lot of stamina. even if samehada doesnt suck chakra itd still be a deadly weapon.

Pretty much all taijutsu-based users are very fast themselves.
