Stop with the hype people. this is what seems to overrate ninjas imo. Some of it is true but imo only half of all hype is.

Example: lets say we never were introduced to sasuke.

The story told from there on out will be that sasuke attacked the five summit. he cost the Raikage an arm.All five kages engaged him.he fought them, escaped and killed the Hokage before he vanished.

now if we knew nothing of sasuke..never seen or heard of him we would think hes is a bad ass ninja that could just have his way with the five kage like madara is doing now. we all know that is not the case. my point is, we hear hype about all these ninja and just go nuts with it. Calm the hype down people. base things alittle more on facts and only half of the things on hype. thats all im saying.

Hype would never have said a statement like that..

They would have said, AKATSUKI invaded the five kage summit, Sasuke uchiha, suigetsu, Karin, Juugo, and zetsu fought the kages, The raikage lost his arm to Sasuke , fought with help, escaped and killed the hokage

especially when it comes to hiruzen. what kishi said (if he even actually said it) was before he had even thought of some of the OP characters.

It was an example. and i guess your right about it saying akatsuki did it. they would not single out suigetsu,zetsu and juugo because they already said it was akatsuki who was responsible. sasuke is the only one to engage in combat with all five kage, injure one and kill one. im sure hype would say that.

Exp: Hiruzen was mentioned as the "God of Shinobi". What happened to the SO6P? Is he not the god of shinobi? He did create Ninjutsu and all that stuff.

ao Went after danzo, and was attacked by torune...
For all they know Sasuke, tobi, karin or any other akatsuki members killed the hokage...

To make it clearer, If sasuke didn't see kakashi , The hype would have been
Akatsuki invaded the summit and attacked the hokages, Raikage lost his arm in the battle, The hokage was later killed by akatsuki ..

But sasuke did kill danzo, and he told kakashi that..

Yeah what you're trying to say is that hype doesn't include certain details that might make a situation entirely different
But not all hype is like your example...

Minato saying that Sakume Hatake(white fang) was a genius with respect = to that of the sannin..

Whaat's really to dispute? That is the creators way of giving info on characters that he can't actually show fight in the manga..

same with the elders saying Third kazekage was the strongest kazekage suna ever had....

Hype as to be taken into context, Who is the person saying it, Are they in a position to say it? all these things...

yes this statement here in the bold is what im trying to say. hype will always differ from time to time so i know my example would not be like that all the time. nor was i saying my example was true its just an example..

its not that we should not take hype into context. by all means we must include hype when discussing a ninja, but rather dont let your imagination make it something its not, thus overrating someone.

i dont know what is the big drama or cry people does about that. sasuke fought like a badass. mitzukage mai did what she did but sasuke was weak anyway, it would be the same if he was full and 1v1.

againts onoki i have my doubt but still
