Basic Information

Looks: Hiruzen Stands at 163 centimeters and weighs in at 50.6 kg. His hair is a deep brown. This brown hair is short-medium length while being spiked up and pointing somewhat backwards. He also sports a triangular goatee of the same color on his chin. During the majority of his time he is seen wearing the traditional Kage uniform. Hiruzen is also often seen smoking a pipe during his later years. During battle Hiruzen sheds his Kage uniform and wears a black outfit. His forearms and shins are covered by a gray fishnet material while his feel have black sandals. His shoulders are also covered with a gray material while he wears a black cap that has gray armor shingles on the sides of his head. The hat also has two black strands that extend the length of his body and appear to be thin cloth.
Personality: Hiruzen was the ideal leader and role model during his time as Hokage. He led the village instead of ruling it, and he did so with courage, honor, wisdom, strength and the willingness to sacrifice himself for the people. Contrary to the ideas of Danzo, Hiruzen attempted to make peace of every situation first. When the Cloud villiage attempted to kidnap a Hyuuga and got one of their own killed, instead of declaring war, they met and came to a compromise. This compromise ended up sacrificing a Hyuuga member, but averted war. He also tried to reach compromise with the Uchiha clan before they were exterminated by Itachi at the orders of the elders and Danzo. This difference in philosophy made Hiruzen and Danzo very different characters. To the villagers Hiruzen was more than their Hokage, he was like a father and a grandfather. Especially to Naruto. He never viewed Naruto as a jinchuuriki but saw him as a person, possibly because he was one of the only ones who knew the truth about Naruto's father, and Naruto admired him because of it.
Despite his great qualities he had one downfall. It is something that has plagued many great men throughout history. Girls. He is the original perverted sensei. He is the one who taught Jiraiya, the pervy sage, how to spy on women. He was also known to have fallen for Naruto's sexy jutsu on multiple occasions, something only a true pervert would fall for.

History: Born into the Sarutobi clan to Sasuke, Hiruzen was a prodigy who truly stood out in talent. He and his former team-mates, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, were students of Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage. He had somewhat of a rivalry with Danzō Shimura ever since they were children, but Hiruzen always managed to pass milestones before Danzō. During the First Shinobi World War, Team Tobirama along with Danzō, Kagami Uchiha and Torifu Akimichi were pursued by enemy Kumogakure ninja. Knowing that one of them would need to distract their pursuers in order for the rest to escape, a task that would result in their death, Hiruzen volunteered. Tobirama however, chose to be the decoy instead, but before leaving he appointed Hiruzen as the Third Hokage.
Not long after this, Hiruzen became the teacher of Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade, who would go on to become known as the Sannin. While Orochimaru was his student, Hiruzen came to appreciate Orochimaru's natural talent, and often told Jiraiya to be more like him. He also came to recognise an inner malice and a lust for power within Orochimaru, and tried to steer his student away from these personality traits. During this time he was also the Hokage of the Leaf and began to develop an incredible reputation around the shinobi world for his strength.
Other
Reaper Death Seal: Hiruzen was one of two characters known to use this forbidden technique. The other character was his student Namikaze Minato. This technique summoned the Death God to devour the soul of the target. But the cost of the technique was the life of the user, who also had their soul sealed. I was given permission to use this technique from Nexus.
Will of Fire: Hiruzen was a strong follower of the Will of Fire. He believed in protecting the youth and leading by peace, love and sacrifice. This will of fire gave Hiruzen the strength to fight even when he faced unsurmountable odds. He worked hard to instill this belief system into the younger generation who carries on his legacy.
