I have been a little confused as to how the mangekyo works for all who have awaken it.

My question is does all who awaken the mangekyo have the same abilities or different abilities?

Please enlighten me.

Those who awaken both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu have the potential to awaken Susano'o. I don' think that you get Susano'o at the moment of awakening the other two MS Techs. I think that you have to experience a traumatic event in order to awaken it. It's also thought that Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu do not have to be awakened in order to get Susano'o, instead you can get it if you just awaken MS and get one MS Tech on each eye.

I myself am not sure on about half of this, but this is what I have read over the Base and Naruto Wiki.

I think you get Susanoo from just mastering the abilities of both eyes, not necessarily tsu and amaterasu.

and once again kishi hasnt said anything about what the EMS does except for you cant go blind untill you use nagi or nami...which is lame

you only need the mangekyou in both eyes to activate susanoo, not necessarilly amaterasu and tsukuyomi

I dont know if this has been posted but i jsut thought it was a fun concept.

Obitos Mangekyo sharingan is space time ninjutsu. That could have been used to stop the rocks from killing him and his team.

Sasuke can control the flames of Amaterasu, that could have been useful in his battle against Itachi.

Itachi can use Amaterasu which could have been useful in his massacre, since it is said to be able to destroy anything.

Shisuis mangekyo was a great Tsukyomi which would have been useful in his attempt to convince others to stop the civil war from happening.

Just thought that was intersting.
