Yeah pretty much. the sword is what made him have so much chakra in the fisrt place. years of jackin chakra got him that buff. without samehada he must suck man.

Whether it could be done I don't know, but it would have been nice to see him come back to put it down on the battlefield against a bunch of ninja. I waited pretty much up until now to see what he was all about but his actual fighting screen time didn't do him enough justice IMO.
