But even so, I've been planning to do this for a while.
Feats
The main thing that gained Tsunade her worldwide respect is her feats in the second shinobi world war against Hanzo of the Salamander. As I am sure you all know, at that point Hanzo was one of the most powerful characters in the Narutoverse. Hanzo basically soloed one of Konoha's forces yet those three survived. Tsunade would have been a key part of this especially with her advanced knowledge of countering poisons. Also the fact that Hanzo was fine yet they were exhausted means that Jiraiya and Oro's superior attack power was not very useful in their survival. Therefore without Tsunade : No Sannin.
Her next feat, which imo is the most impressive feat of all the Hokages is her efforts during the Pain invasion. Now I don't see the point of reciting what happened there but I think that was one the most impressive things in the manga and something only she could do. And although some might say the village building were destroyed lets see what is considered more important using the example of the Kyuubi attack
During the Kyuubi attack, the village and the buildings were attacked. But where did Minato go? He went to fight Tobi, even when he had saved the life of his wife and his child. Why? Because he saw Tobi as a threat to the lives of the people of Konoha and the world. Had he had gone and sealed the nine-tails straight away, a few lives would have been saved and the economic damage would have been far less but he took out the larger threat to people's lives.
Now Tsunade wasn't going to beat Pain in a six on one fight, Deva Pain at least would have been a terrible match up for her. However she saved so many lives something no one, probably not even the almighty Hashirama would have been able to do. Now people say that Nagato out shone which he sort of did, but if she had not saved all those people + the ones he resurrecte if she had not used her technique as his body would not have been able to take it.
Combat
Now here is where she is really underrated. Lets take a look at her data book stats where she has a 5 for Ninjutsu obviously a 5 For Taijutsu and a 3.5 for Genjutsu with an overall of 35, making her one of the strongest characters there are stats for. The ninjustu stat is important and make it blatantly obvious that she has more to show us than powerful taijutsu. Whether we will ever see it is another question
Her signature jutsu, the byakugou technique means she is more or less invincible in battle for a while. In a sense she is emulating Hashirama in healing her self without hand signs, a feat in its self. People have mentioned ridiculous things about people who could beat Tsunade.
It is safe to say that Tsunade even with her moderate speed would be very adept at dodging as she is the best medical ninja in the world.
This suggest long range ninjutsu wouldn't be that effective and close range ninjutsu would be the best way to win. That is wrong too however. No matter how fast you are you would need many attacks to b e able to harm Tsunade. After all her medical ninjutsu is on the level of Hashi who was OP
Also it will take a lot longer for someone to kill Tsunade as all she needs is one good punch to at least demobilise if not kill you. After all
And Raikage apparently in could have killed Naruto in kyuubi mode with a direct hit. She obviously knows how genjutsu and the brain works as well: She healed the damage done by Tsukuyomi in about 30s And I would mention Katsuyu but I'm tired so that can wait
And before anyone decides to bring up the Kabuto fight in part one, 1. Kabuto is no weakling even before part one and as it has been shown recently. 2. Kabuto took advantage of her hematophobia. Here is the definition
" An abnormal and persistent fear of blood is called hematophobia. Sufferers of hematophobia experience a typical phobic reaction characterized by an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. Other sufferers experience an atypical phobic reaction characterized by a decrease in blood pressure and heart rate, causing paleness and weakness." Could you fight at even close to full power like that?
Any that being said if this doesn't show how talented she is, there is something else that always impresses everyone
