Alright it's created by increasing the frequency of vibration in a person's chakra and doing so is useful for piercing as well as speed. Powerful enough Raiton attack can even pierce stone. It can also be used to paralyze a person for a number of different things to do. Also people who are skilled can infuse weapons and other stuff with Raiton chakra which increases the chances of piercing something or paralyzing someone. Umm...it can be released from the body without having to touch someone but it's not as fast as true lightning. So it gives oppenents a better chance to dodge it.

I had a little trouble finding info about this technique everything in the wiki kept giving me lightning release: blah blah...so i hope this works. Also sorry for the long wait.

How many hand seals does it have: Couldn't find that it needs any.
Advantages: If it doesn't need hand seals then that is an advantage. It's good to use against earth style jutsu and can be used to channel through objects and even to use in taijutsu
Disadvantages: Not very strong can be easily defeated with wind jutsu. And if the opponent uses water correctly you can stun yourself.
Combos and possible uses: Can be used during taijutsu, used to channel the chakra through shurikens, kunai's, or even swords, Combo'd with water techniqus can increase damage.
How to defend against it: Using wind jutsu is a good and easy way to defend against this technique.
