The mysteries of Sakumo Hatake's powers...

Hello fellow Naruto readers! I am rather new to this site but very well read in Naruto. I am very very curious to everyone's thoughts on what are the extent of Sakumo's powers... He is the white fang said to be stronger than any of the Sanin(Not sure which chapter but most people will remember)... What do you think his powers were?

1. it never said he was stronger than all of the sannin it said he had the same respect as them.

2. i do think he was very strong and had good jutsu

what he's powers were? i dunno he kind of looks like a wind element kind of guy.

It's really hard to tell. He was probably Kakashi's equal when it came to stealth, intelligence, plans, etc. Other than that, his major link (Kakashi) is characterized by the things that Sakumo doesn't have, so it's even harder to tell.

while he maybe extremely strong i doubt he would be some thing like that possibly he yielded somesort of different chakra maybe white chakra or something i am guessing from his blade which was a white chakra sabre

kakashi has more than just the sharingan like multiple elements, deception, and hes a good strategist yes your right though that the sharingan is kakashi main characteristic

Yeah, Kakashi has skills, but he lacks the power.

That's not always true. No one is stronger than the SO6P. Kakashi is not stronger than Madara. You get my point? Some traits skip a few generations before they are shown again.

I think the proper phrase was that he was "respected" as much as the 3 Sannin. Plus this might have been the olden days when all 3 lost to Hanzo. IMO I think Kakashi has surpassed Sakumo now. He was "following in his foot steps" and got to Jounin level w/o the Sharingan as a kid. Than he created Chidori, perfected it, gained the Sharingan, than the MS... I mean the list goes on xD

The White Fang of the leaf has the same respect as the legendary sannins but something is missing ??? I know what it is but i won't say it.
