Rain village = whirlpool village

Wasn't both kinda the same? Both were destroyed over the years by war, but only difference is rain had people to rebuild it? M I right or m I missing something?:shrug:

Actually all that he said was that they both suffered from similar fates, which in a way is true, although the rain village was never specifically targeted.

The rain village was only hurt by war because they were in the middle of the 5 great nations.

The whirlpool village though was specifically destroyed because the Uzumaki were feared for their long lives, powerful chakras, and sealing jutsu. I'm guessing that they didn't have too large of a village to begin with, and the survivors just fled.

This I know this, but it doesn't say exactly when The village itself was no more, I mean yea the main clan there was uzamaki but it doesn't say that's the only one. What I'm trying to say is why is the village no longer a village. Senju : Konahagakure as uzamaki: uzushiogakure In the end I just don't know.
