Itachi and pain both present formidable ocular powers, but konin would be defeated by kisame, leaving it kisame+itachi vs pain. and thats when pain is defeated.

Hmmm well Kisame could easily neutralize Konan but I don't think they could take Pain without knowing the secret of his abilities and even then it would still be tough. For that reason I give this one to Pain and Konan high difficulty.

But Jman isnt even at par with genjutsu & w/ Shima and Fukasaku's help he took out more than a couple pain bodies.
if genjutsu isnt a problem, y did deva path made sure he took out fukasaku to cancel out his genjutsu? its clearly a threat.

fukasaku's is a mass genjutsu, it can trap many people at once, itachi's is a one on one genjutsu

She isn't a pushover but she definitely isn't anywhere near as strong as any of the other 3. Did you see how easily Jiraiya wrecked her world. Konan always gets overrated, but to anyone with actual ninjutsu she just isn't much of a threat.

I think Kisame would fight Pain at first while stalling for Itachi to dominate Konan's world and then Kisame + Itachi would win a long battle.

there is no such thing as actual ninjutsu, every character has unique style of fighting and unique ninjutsu, She is a threat, she can surround anyone with explosive tags and then detonate them. Now thats dangerous

Wasn't dangerous to Jiraiya, plus she wouldn't get past Itachi's regular genjutsu.

P.S. When I say actual ninjutsu I was referencing the Tobi fight, as Tobi had no offensive ninjutsu at that point. All he had was defensive ninjutsu.

I give this to Pain and Konan, mid difficulty.

Six paths of Pain has shared vision and are capable of doing combo attacks, it's extremely dangerous to fight all six of them at once, Konan has her paper control, explosive paper and explosive clones.

I think Itachi and Kisame wouldn't last long against those two, and no Kisame won't take konan with ease, even if he can defeat her it won't be that easy, she's also an Akatsuki member and has her own variety of skills, and during that time Pain won't stay still and wait for Kisame to kill her, they will take down Itachi and backup Konan.

Pain and konan mid difficulty. Sure, Itachi could pose problems to Pain, but he doesn't the chakra to be able to compete with all the Pains, and i don't see Kisame powerful enough to beat them. Just to deal with Animal Path will be a great problem for them.

as long as konan doesnt look directly into itachi's eye i think she could defeat him.

konan was hit by jiraiyas fireball and she didnt even notice. she is always in the RAIN village and her paper doesnt even get wet. i think this is because she can either be normal paper or make it hard like steel so everything that hits it just bounces off. and if she meets a strong enough attack, she can disperse completely into paper and scatter, reforming at another location. the hardened paper can form missiles and shurikens. with paper clones this means she can attack from all directions. if things get too difficult, she still has bombs mixed in with her paper, so combined with the metal shurikens, she can bombard people with a hail of bombs. since she has flight, this is easy. Konan has been shown to be able to produce and fold enough paper to mimic environmental surroundings, even a giant tree.

if itachi tries totsuka, konan disperses into paper. she can tank fireballs due to hardened paper. she can fly away from amaterasu or disperse. her paper should be abel to go underground. if you remember her paper was moving along the ground and then covering the "drop dead" fodder guy in konoha, so much so that he probably suffocated.
