question about tobis eyes

In his disposal, he has two different eyes because the rinnegan is powerful and he needs the sharingan for his Eye Moon Plan.

Rinnegan and sharingan are complete different eyes,, otherwise he would have only 2 rinnegans.. aight. this moon eye plan thingy is like only thing you can't do alone even with rinnegans unique powers, you need 1 sharingan atleast for it.

ooooh ok.I guess that makes sense. Even though it is similiar to sharingan it has different powers. Much like the hyuga clans eyes. Arent those like a lesser form of sharingan?...id actually rather have the hyugas eyes...js

His Sharingan has a special space/time technique that he needs to use at anytime, and probably his ghost mode are one of the powers his Sharingan provides.
