That niqqa Hiruzen's b1tch @$$ Stood by and watched Minato die when he could have stopped Kurama before Minato put a barrier if he was supposively the strongest shinobi. Hashirama didnt just defeat Madara twice but Madara PLUS Kurama. Hashirama is a mix between a Grade A Medic and 2 akatsuki in one. Hashirama is Hiruzen's master, grandfather, and GOD. Hiruzen is a goon (beast) but whats a goon to a goblin (Hashirama)? Naaawthin

anyhow the fact is that hiruzen couldnt handle the kyuubi by himself and was hoping for minatos appearance.

Your making your self look stupid, the same way you say the tailed beast remimber him and the existence is proof that he he creation of all things works with hiruzen as well. Iruka and orochimaru and part 1 kabuto says that hiruzen was the strongest hokage. EVEN THE ****ING DATA BOOK SAYS HE'S THE STRONGEST:flaw:.. how can you argue that. Its been confirmed in the manga, so how can you deny he's not as strong as hashirama.. The tailed beast never said he created the moon or that he could use all nature elements, you heard it from someone who wasnt there at the time, yet we still all believe it.. Sama works with Hiruzen..

It's like I'm dealing with the world slower thinker.I said we know of the sage power base off the memories of the tail beast.The Tail Beasts memories are facts, Iruka opinion is just that, an opinion.It was said in the manga that the sage used the creation of all things jutsu to split the tens tails into nine seperate entities.The Sage himself said when talking to the Tail beast that one day they will be one again.The sages words clearly shows that the tail beast were once a single entity, which gives credence to him splitting them apart, those showing he had the creation of all things jutsu.That flashback show an event that happen in that past.What event have we seen that confirms Iruka, Orochimaru, and Kabuto's opinion of Hiruzen being the strongest hokage?As for the sage using all nature elements, we don't need the tail beast to confirm this.We have seen the power of the rinnegan, which allows the users to used all elements.the Sage of the six paths had the rinnegan, thus he could used all elements.The Uchiha Clan and The Senju Clan were said to have derived from the Sage.Well, we now know that if you place the DNA of Hashirama Senju into an Uchiha, their Sharingan can evolved into a rinnegan.Do you get it now idiot?Things that were said about the Sage have been proven, while all the hype about Hiruzen hasn't.We haven't seen anything from Hiruzen to justify the hype, while we now know many things about The Sage Of The Six paths that can allow us to accept the thing said about him as facts.Even some of the things we haven't seen can be considered facts because of the things we have seen.


As for the databooks, when was the last databook written? Like I said in my previous post, Kishi has contradicted many things from the first part of the naruto series.So using the databook in a discussion of power with Hashirama and Hiruzen is pointless.

First you dont know if hashirama beat karuma or not, and if your going by that video he only supresses his chakra and took control away from madara, but he didnt beat karuma. HE ONLY BEAT MADARA..

I say Hashirama... Orochimaru had an incomplete Edo Tensei, If Kabuto Brought him back he be OP to the max. Hiruzen is pretty good too but we have yet to see him in his prime... all we seen is teen and kid, no prime yet.

1st hokage was able to tame the nine tails while the 3rd hokage was able to watch the nine tails destroy his village. Is this really a debate?

At one time 1st had all the beast... he only gave them up to promote peace. Exactly what i mean by how op he would be if he was Edo by Kabuto.

I skimmed through some of these replies intending to explain I voted for the 3rd simply because he actually has feats we've witnessed for ourselves. I saw at least two people say Hiruzen is all hype and I nearly fell out of my chair. To resort to calling the third nothing but hype is such a joke when the subject at hand is comparing him to Hashirama who has yet to show anything at all. The only glimpse we get of him is his edo form which was an absolute joke.

The only other thing you could give him is the brief demonstration of wood release techs that we saw from Edo Madara. Which could have been his own variation anyway (still leaning towards the idea that Hashirama's techs are of equal or greater value, though).

Point being, I give all credit to characters who have something to show for themselves and not just a bunch of hearsay from random characters, most of which never even met the guy much less witness his actual abilities.

Actually, no they couldn't have been Madara's own variation.The moment Edo Madara used Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees, Tsunade clearly says "My Grandfather Jutsu", thus confirming it was Hashirama's tech.The only other two Mokuton tech Madara has used is Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees, which we saw Hashirama used in part one, and Wood Clones which we know is Hashirama's because Yamato who only has Wood Release because Orochimaru injected the first Hokage cells into him have used them.

The fact that he killed madara alone is good enough. Sure the madara now is really buffed up, but as you can see he is just messing around with the kages and giving them such trouble. I speculate that if madara was to be in the form and state he was when fighting hashi but fighting as serious as he was then, he would still give the 5 kages the same amount of trouble maybe even more...

Just to put on a prospective on who hashi was actually going against.

After reading your whole reply I have come to the conclusion that you are an idiot. We have seen nothing of Hiruzen prime so what you are relying on calling him the best is hearsay. I will repeat that the first can control tailed beast. Hiruzen watches them destroy the village. The only fight we have seen him really in is Orichimaru in which he didn't really have any impressive justus. The First hokage's and Madara fight was so epic that they have there own separate statue. We have not heard of the 3rd hokage fight anyone else or even mentioned in shippuden however we still hear and see the effects of the 1st hokage. Anyone see people try to get a hold of Hiruzen's cells didn't think so.

Sarutobi when saw Kurama told everyone to wait for Minato... If he was such a strong old man as you say then he would be useful helping Minato handling Kurama and maybe, just maybe Naruto would have his parents alive...

Well Minato didn't even deal with the fox. The third and the leaf shinobi took him on while Minato dealt with Tobi. And yes Hiruzen is the strongest to grace the naruto world. I mean he did kill the second and first hokage twice in that fight and almost killed Oro too. Can't disagree with facts.
