Pretty much explains why he could control the Kyuubi with just his normal Sharingan and high likely why his Genjutsu is much more powerful. Seriously if you have Hashirama's DNA and don't forget half of Tobi's body is pure Hashirama DNA (White Zetsu) do you realise how much his attacks got boosted? No wonder his Genjutsu is so powerful, Hashirama Senju Cells can seriously boost ur power and attacks abnormally you know

-You are comparing Tobi's base speed with Minatos
-Your pictures are messed up
- Rofl Tobi's tracking was good only because of zetsu :sy:

and far far less for Shisui.


Crow = has a chakra network

Shisui = had a chakra network

Shisuis MS = KA

Shisuis KA = Compatible with Shisuis chakra network with the best performance.

Crow = Not so good chakra network and the MS will have a far less performance.

if it's true , KA takes 10 years too reload....then it must mean , that Crow and Shisui = the same thing.

I have not seen Shisuis fly around with wings.

KA was Shisuis best Genjutsu.

I don't agree with everything, but yeah Tobi is one broken villian. With 6 perfect jinchuuriki with linked rinnegan and sharingan vision, he's actually LESS powerful than he would be fighting without them.

Tobi with gedo mazo+rinnegan+space/time warping+intangibility is pretty much an unbeatable combination.

You forgot a couple of points to add, his strength is enough to be able to tank a large ransengan to the back and come off with a mere wound.
Then, there is his way of dealing with amaterasu, it's not izanagi as you need to perform the seals for that BEFORE you get attacked.
and more emphasis on his space-time warping, which is an attack which very very few individuals can escape or counter. Minato was the ONLY one who could escape it without knowledge. especially when used with hiding like a mole technique.

one thing i disagree with is his izanagi, it's 5 minutes i think not 10.

Thanks! And yeah, his Izanagi is either 5-10 minutes. I'm not sure if he activated it right away or after intangibility wore off.

Introduction
I'm pretty bored, so I've decided to make a complete analysis on Tobi's powers and abilities that he has shown thus far. I'll be separating this post into certain sections, so feel free to read only the sections that you desire to indulge yourselves in. Also, I'll be using some of my other threads as reference if you guys wish to read more on certain topics. Anyway, I'll be diving into separate topics involving Tobi's qualities and powers/abilities.

Tobi's qualities, powers, and ability:

1. Intelligence and Manipulation

Tobi has proven countless of times that he is an extremely intelligent and well-versed man, and possibly the smartest man currently alive in the Narutoverse. He's managed to manipulate some of the strongest ninjas into doing his complete bidding, while has just been working in the shadows, letting his minions do all of the dirty work. Contrary to what many think, this does not make him a coward. This makes him smart. Why get your hands dirty to accomplish something when someone else can do it for you? And now here's some of Tobi's intelligence and manipulation feats:

1. He manipulated Nagato and most of the Akatsuki into doing his bidding. He was pulling the strings of the entire Akatsuki, and no one (except for Nagato and Konan) was aware of it. All he had to do was sit back and relax while the Bijuus were pretty much captured and delivered straight to him. This shows how manipulative and smart he is.

2. He used Nagato as a tool with the Rinnegan. Tobi let Nagato do all of the dirty work and take the big hits, such as being impaled by Gedo Mazo and invading Konoha, and all he had to do was manipulate him with thoughts of peace. He apparently had a whole plan involving Nagato's Rinne Tensei. Though the plan did fail, he still got many Bijuus in his hands due to this.

3. He knows a lot about the past of the Shinobi world. He knows almost everything about the Sage, everything about the Uchiha, and a lot of other things. He's well versed about many techniques, making him pretty dang smart. He's been shown to know about many Sharingan techniques, and seems to know how to counter some of them (Kamui).

4. He knew exactly when to attack Konoha, and how do it. Granted that his plan eventually failed, he still achieved in bringing about the deaths of Minato and Kushina. He somehow knew when Kushina was going to give birth, and he knew exactly what to do in order to make his attack a success. Also, he somehow managed to figure out that the birth was even going to happen. This shows how smart he is.

5. He's manipulated Sasuke through his story telling and manipulation. By telling him about Itachi's real past, he was able to convince Sasuke into fighting for him. And through Sasuke, he achieved Danzo's death. He also apparently has some plan with Sasuke, involving Gedo Mazo. He's used Sasuke as is puppet, and all he has had to do was pull the strings.

6. He's smart in battle. This is shown when he fought Minato, and also when he fought Danzo's bodyguards. He's used his S/T techs to his advantage many times, showing that he knows how to use his techniques to their full potential.


Here's some lists of people used by Tobi as his pawns or minions, through his manipulation and intelligence:

Akatsuki:
Nagato - Used.
Konan - Followed Nagato.
Kakuzu - Used because he ended up capturing a Bijuu.
Hidan - Same reason as Kakuzu. And he killed off Asuma, if that even matters.
Itachi - Never had the balls to face Tobi while living; Not sure if he actually new that Tobi in Akatsuki was the "Madara" he was talking about.
Kisame - Used by Tobi. Led by hopes of peace. Captured a Bijuu.
Deidara - Captured a Bijuu, or two Bijuus. Not sure.
Sasori - Didn't contribute much to Akatsuki, wasn't really used.
Zetsu - Tobi's tool.

Non-Akatsuki:
Yahiko - Created Akatsuki because of Tobi.
Sasuke - Almost caught a Bijuu, attacked 5 kages, killed Danzo.
Rest of Taka - Same as Sasuke pretty much.
Madara - This is a maybe. He apparently had something to do with Tobi.
Kurama - Does he even count? But he was used to bring forth Minato and Kushina's deaths.
Yagura - Completely controlled by Tobi.
Rest of the Bijuus - Do they count? Idk, but they're fighting Naruto.

In conclusion, Tobi's intelligence rivals, if not bests, the intellects of some of the smartest characters in the series. This can give Tobi a huge advantage in many day-to-day situations, including battle (as shown before).

2. Physical Strength

Though not much is known about Tobi's strength in general, it has been proven that has physical strength is at least above average. I only have a few examples in which he's shown his strength, though.

Example 1: While injured, he lifted and completely subdued Konan with one hand.

Example 2: Using just his legs, he sent two ninjas flying several meters.

Example 3: He blocked one of Suigetsu's sword swings by simply putting out his arm/wrist.

In conclusion, though not too much can be determined, Tobi's physical strength is for sure above average, though we don't know the full scope of it.

3. Speed

Not counting his S/T techniques, Tobi has shown himself to still be pretty darn fast. And here's some examples as to why he has a good amount of speed:

Example 1: He was fast enough against Fu and Torune that they didn't notice him disappear.

Example 2: Against Minato, he was able to cover an even amount of distance as him when running. But seriously, Minato's speed >>>>>>X500 Tobi's speed.

So in conclusion, Tobi is one fast dude. Lol but really his base speed isn't that good.

4. Tracking

I don't feel like putting up panels for this, because there are so many of them. But Tobi has shown, countless of times, that he knows exactly where to go. Some examples are when he found Danzo, Minato, Sasuke, Naruto, The Sasuke Rescue Squad, Kisame, and yeah. There's some other examples too, I think. But in conclusion, Tobi's tracking skills are probably better than Kiba's, and even Kakashi's dog's.

5. Taijutsu

Again, not much of Tobi's Taijutsu is shown, so I'll just get it out of the way. Though he hasn't shown much, Tobi's Taijutsu can be very efficient due to his S/T techs. He can let any attack phase through him, and then solidify and make his attacks hit. Or, he can simply let the opponents harm each other. Here are some examples of Tobi's S/T techs improving Tobi's Taijutsu.

Example 1: Shown in my other post. Two ninjas sent flying.

Example 2: He used his S/T techs to his advantage against Fu and Torune, letting them injure each other.

Example 3: When he fought Minato, his Taijutsu + S/T strategy was simple and efficient (though it failed :scorps.

In conclusion, Tobi's S/T techs can enhance Tobi's Taijutsu by an overwhelming amount, giving him an advantage in many situations.

6. Ninjutsu

Not enough data is available to make a valid conclusion on this. He's only shown Doton (Earth Release) so far. But the Rinnegan does give him all Nature Transformations. But it is unknown on whether he can use them efficiently and with power, or not. Check back later...maybe. :scorps:

7. Genjutsu

Here we go. This is one controversial topic. But contrary to popular belief, Tobi does indeed have the best Genjutsu....yes, even better than Shisui's. He can use a KA like Genjutsu on Yagura (A PERFECT JINCHUURIKI AND MIZUKAGE) for several years, with no "10 year reload time." And here's more proof that Tobi has amazing Genjutsu:

-He controlled Yagura, someone said to be a perfect Jinchuuriki, for who knows how long. This fact right here can even his Genjutsu with possibly Shisui's. To be able to control a perfect jinchuuriki, or anyone in this case, for several years should put someone's Genjutsu in the top 5. He pretty much used Kotoamatsukami without any delay time.


-He was able to figure out the location of Nagato's body and kill Konan at the same time using his Genjutsu. Genjutsu that can kill? That's gotta be some powerful Genjutsu.


-He has a perfect Izanagi. His Izanagi is miles ahead of Danzo's. This shows how good Tobi is in Genjutsu. To perfect Izanagi, especially if he isn't an Uchiha, must take extreme skill, and Tobi has shown that.


-Something not as important, but he kept Fu and Torune under some sort of Genjutsu while they were trapped inside his dimension. How else would they not retaliate at all?


-He's able to control Kurama flawlessly with a 3-Tomoe Sharingan. This feat is said to only be capable by MS users, but Tobi was able to do it a base Sharingan. That's some strong Genjutsu. NO ONE, other than Madara with the EMS has been able to control Kurama, yet Tobi's done it with a 3-Tomoe.

And yes, contrary to popular belief, Tobi did show a 3-Tomoe during his attack on Konoha, not an MS. Tell me if you want proof.

In conclusion, I say that Tobi is an even better Genjutsu user than Shisui, simply for the fact that he doesn't have any recharge times or drawbacks on his Genjutsus, other than Izanagi, and yet he can control people just like Shisui's Kotoamatsukami can. He's for sure better than Itachi in Genjutsu. :scorps:

8. Doujutsu

Boy oh boy. Here we go. Tobi is extremely well-versed in his knowledge AND use of Genjutsu. I'll divide this into Sharingan and Rinnegan.

Sharingan:
Tobi has not shown an MS, so I won't be talking about that. Yet he has shown the best Genjutsu (look above), and an exclusive Sharingan technique. Oh yeah, and he has a perfect Izanagi. Anyways, his S/T techs are one of his Sharingan techniques, and boy oh boy are they useful.

-He can teleport wherever he wants, whenever he wants. This is due to his S/T techniques.

-He can go intangible for 5 minutes at a time, and pretty much no one can exploit those 5 minutes. Only Konan, with months to years of preparation, was able to beat that 5 minute limit (lol I rhymed :scorps.

Tobi also knows a lot about most to all of the Sharingan techniques, showing his knowledge in the Uchiha's Doujutsu.

Rinnegan
Here's a copy paste on the Rinnegan from my other thread; I'm too lazy to type it all up again. This is why Tobi can be very damn good with the Rinnegan:

Anyways, here's why Tobi can be extremely good and efficient in using the Rinnegan:

-His techniques are probably on a larger scale than Nagato's. If his chakra rods have been noted to be stronger than Nagato's, than his other Rinnegan techniques are probably stronger too. He also seems to have an almost endless supply of chakra, giving him an advantage.

-He can apparently use Gedo Mazo better. This is obviously partly due to the Bijuus being sealed inside Gedo Mazo, therefore Gedo Mazo not requiring any of Tobi's chakra. But even then, Nagato never seemingly attempted to use Gedo Mazo in battle, even when some of the Bijuus were sealed within it. This shows that either Nagato wasn't confident in his control over Gedo Mazo, or because he didn't have enough chakra to control it. Being able to control Gedo Mazo with 7 Bijuus in it flawlessly gives Tobi a huge advantage in his Rinnegan use already.

-His chakra drain seems to be minimal when using the Rinnegan. He's been controlling six Bijuus yet has shown no sign of chakra drain or fatigue during the battle against Naruto and co. And it can be noted that he's been keeping Gedo Mazo under his control at the same time. Nagato was coughing blood while his paths were fighting Naruto, while Tobi has been standing there without any signs of tiring. His minimal chakra drain can possibly be attributed to Tobi apparently being an original Rinnegan user, unlike Nagato.

-Unlike Nagato, Tobi doesn't lack mobility. One of Nagato's weaknesses, as stated by Kabuto, was his lack of mobility. This is probably due to Gedo Mazo impaling Nagato in his early teens. But even while immobile, Nagato was immensely destructive with the Rinnegan. Tobi can use the Rinnegan techs on an even larger scale (look above) and he isn't lacking in mobility, therefore making him a very powerful Rinnegan user.

-Lastly, he can use his Intangiblity hand-in-hand with his Rinnegan techniques, making him practically invincible. Just think about it. He can pretty much spam Shinra Tensei. Whenever he has to cool down for 5 seconds, which can easily be exploited by a faster character like Naruto, he can simply go intangible. This pretty much makes him completely untouchable. And he can use his other Rinnegan techniques along with his intangibility, making him practically invincible. And if his intangiblity ever is exploited, he can use the Preta Path to stop any attack.

He has mobility, unlike Nagato, and intangibility, unlike Madara and Nagato, giving him a huge advantage with the Rinnegan.

In conclusion, Tobi has the opportunity to be extremely powerful in using the Rinnegan, shown by what I've stated above. He can be and probably is better with the Rinnegan compared to Nagato. Tobi can be better with Nagato and Madara due to his intangibility patching up any of the Rinnegan's weaknesses. And he's good with the Sharingan (look above) too.

Conclusion
Anyways, I think that's about it for now. I'll add more if I notice I'm missing something. Feel free to read none, some, or all of it. Have fun and agree or disagree below. But this is my analysis on Tobi's qualities and powers. Now I'll be adding the finishing touches and edits.

DISCLAIMER: I probably overrated him a little. My bad If I did. He's my favorite character; I can't help it sometimes.

You gave me no choice but to rep you, also, you forgot to mention Tobi's ST in the ninjutsu genre, ST does fall under that doesnt it? And what about Edo tensei, Kabuto taught him the perfected Edo and remember he has dna for Danzo, Shishui, Konan, Yahiko, Fu, Torune, etc. That should be added to his Ninjutsu arsenal.

You also didnt mention his knowledge of seals, he knew how Minato's FTG worked almost in detail and immediately recognised the contract seal, He also was quick to identify Danzo's paralisis cursed seal and the reverse tetragram seal or whatever its called.

Also, he was able to see through all of Itachi's lies and deceit like an open book and realiseduncover the true story behind the Uchiha Massacre (that Itachi was order by Hiruzen and the elders and was still loyal only to sasuke and konoha).

You also didnt mention his scientific aptitude, able to produce new limbs for himself, create zetsu, harvest hashirama's dna and create a hashirama clone (in the hideout) etc.

Not neccessarily true, remember that Danzo has Koto Amatsu kami, even if he didnt have Hashi's dna, he could control Kyubi, the only reason he had Hashirama's dna was so that he could reduce the time limit of KA, not so that he could control the Kyubi, he would have been able to do it even without Hashi's dna. And vice versa, even without a sharingan, Mokuton can control the kyubi, Hashirama already proved that.

Both Uchiha and Senju dna implanted in Danzo can INDIVIDUALLY control Kurama, that is MANAGA FACT. people should stop trying to twist Tobi's words to mean what they want it to mean instead of what it means, there are many things that Tobi said during that battle, everything he said links together, simply quoting a small dialogue out of the many in those chapters will present us with an incomplete picture.

Hashirama's dna did not make KA or sharingan stronger, it simply shortened the time span betweeen uses and gave Danzo enough chakra to wield the many sharingans he had, no where was the strength of the jutsu itself said to have increased.

People must also remember that the Kyubi was inside naruto, Shishui's eye was probably going to be used to control NARUTO and then the Mokuton to control the Kyubi when he unleashes it.
