With eye transplants so common, Izanagi/Izanami worth it?

As an Uchiha, if you're life was on the line, wouldn't these forbidden eye techniques be worth it? Better to lose your eyesight than be dead.

True, as a drawback, you'd lose your main characteristic that makes you an Uchiha - the Sharingan. You'd probably never be as powerful as you once were, and would lose all your Mangekyou techniques as well.

But in the end, you can get an eye transplant and still have powerful chakra and be a decent shinobi. At least your kids will still be able to acqurie the Sharingan.

If you mean getting another Sharingan put in, then no. They are only there because the clan was destroyed and all the Sharingan were taken from the corpses...

There are only a limited amount left. Seeing that there are no more Uchiha, because Itachi and Sasuke don't want to find women and repopulate. Well it's sort of too late for Itachi now anyway.

Simple they would kill another a ninja and take there's, and if anyone ever finds Tobi's hide out then well a Uchiha member has a vast amount they can just keep using. For all we know they would get there Full sharingan back once activated it's activated. Also from what has been shown pretty much all the Mangekyou techniques have been the same it's just knowing how to awaken the techniques and using them without draining yourself. Again the sharingan is just knowing the knowledge. My question is how come for Izanami you don't need Senju blood but for the Izanagi you do? Because I don't remember Itachi having senju blood put into him.

But I see what you say and it makes sense but in there world if you don't posses your power and your a ninja whats the point to keep going... I am sure they would go after someone with eye's which posses power.
