Ok, this may turn to a flame thread, which i didn't want. Please give reason peacefully and with logic.
Why fans of Naruto(anime) like character Naruto Uzumaki? I mean, he is such a lame character.......Now, i know people are gonna welcome me with troll pics and say "you suck", naruto hater, you fail, etc. But really, there must be a reason why there is a large fanbase of uzumaki naruto.
Now, you people may say,-
1. he is cool:- Oh? is he? how? in first part, he farts, eat like wolf, drools, a total clown and lacks even a bit of knowledge. In second part, he is overconfident, impatient, and just the opposite of a ninja. How he is cool?
2. He is powerful:- Man, there are many people powerful like him, lets say, Kakashi, Sasuke, Pein, Sasori, Deidara, Itachi, Kisame, Gaara, Muu,............And i can go on, now you would say he beated pein, then i would say thats pure plot. he is no special.
In first part, he beated Kiba, how? he farted U_U Wow, what a technique! then he defeated neji, who trained his ass off compared to naruto who just ate ramen and slept. there are many others, or MOST of his fights, which are won by total plot no jutsu.
3. He is intelligent:- Wow wow, stop bro, he is the most idiot character of the series. He is totally dumb. In first part, he was not able to write a single letter in test. He lacked even 1% knowledge in anything. In second part, he is still dumb and a extreme slow learner.
4. He is talented:- How? he learnt shadow clone jutsu at young age? He did that from secret scroll of hokage, where the technique was simplified, still, he used drastic amount of chakra to make clones.
Then you will say he learnt rasengan in 1 month. Quite short time, isn't it? NO. Kakashi directly copied it, no training. About minato, he created it, and of course creating a jutsu takes time and idea.
And, he learnt Rasenshuriken. huhh......You would say Kakashi was able not able to mix rasengan with lightning. I would say lightning does not suit rasengan, wind do. Now if i say mix rasengan with earth chakra, what you would get? it is not possible.
5. He is fast:- Bless Kyuubi for that power, base naruto is slower than chouji. And oh, you may say that Kyuubi is like sharingan/byakugan. They too are blessed with ocular powers? WRONG! Naruto is from uzumaki clan, whose speciality is vast special chakra, not Kyuubi kekkei genkai.
6. He is ambitious:- Man you say that shitload of screaming " i would defeat you", " i will save you sasuke" or " i will not give up", bullshit with hollow words! he just need to get pawned by someone powerful, but unfortunately, Kishi's plot making saves him again. He wins 50% fight with talk no jutsu.
7. He is Hardworking:- Well, it seems that way, but not totally. There are many who work and train harder than him. For example, rock lee trains 3x more than Naruto, Neji, Sasuke(yes, i said it, he is not handed everything
)
Kakashi, Gai, etc are hardworking as much as naruto. Moreover, if seen, Naruto eats ramen and sleeps.
And also, many times, his ass was saved by others when he ran blindly into trouble. If he was not saved, he would have get killed nearly infinite times.
About liking other characters, i would describe why people like them briefly-
1. Minato - Fastest shinobi alive, cool, heroic, insanly powerful.
2. Jiraya- funny, powerful, famous, knowledgeable.
4. Kakashi- Humorous, Very powerful, fast, talented, cool, badaas!
4. Itachi-Insanely powerful, genjustu master, MS master, intelligent.
5. Gaara- Powerful, cool, badass.
6. Nagato- Insane doijutsu(rinnegan), extremely powerful. badass.
......................................................etc.
Please post with reasoning and again, And also, please don't bring other people(kakashi, sasuke, itachi, nagato) to answer, of you have not got any good aurgument.And please again no flaming.
