Sannin can beat any Akatsuki pair

Itachi doesn't have the stamina to keep up with any of the Sannin's(Sage Mode Jiraiya). Itachi could keep up with SM Jiraiya with help of his doujutsu, not for too long though. As MS/Sharingan Drains chakra, While SM Jiraiya is receiving infinite chakra from the surroundings. If you think Itachi can keep Jiraiya then your wrong, it just means that your a bigger crazy-er (lol) Itachi fan then I am. It's lot like comparing 2 Numbers, 1 Negative (Itachi) & 1 Positive (Jiraiya). -1<1

Basically yeah... best oppositions would be Itachi/Kisame or Pein/Konan... Itachi Kisame would lead to at least one death and a mortal wounding at most 2 deaths and some minor wounding on the third... Pein/Konan would kill at least one, mortally wound one, and severely wound another and at most kill 2 and severely wound the last

I bet that the Sannin together can, aka have the ability, to beat any Akatsuki pair if they are all healthy

The only two pairs I could see giving them trouble are Deidara and Tobi and obviously Pain and Konan

When you say pair does it have to be the assigned Akatsuki teams? If not the then any combination of Tobi, Nagato, and Itachi would destroy the Sannin.

It's always hard to say with Itachi, I mean if he were healthy wouldn't he be unstoppable? Tsukuyomi by itself is enought to kill the Sannin. They'd get Uchiha'd.

I'd like to think that J-man + Tsunade > Nagato
and super weird justsu Konan vs. Super weird Jutsu Orochimaru would favor Orochimaru.

Tobi+Zetsu combo might be too much as well. I don't see the other pairs winning.

Actually I meant the little Katsuyu on the 6-tailed Naruto. You may say that the 6-tails protected it but eh..

itachi and kisame would be really tough, kisame is probably sannin level and itachi is a high kage level.

Pain and konan this ones tough but if they know about the six paths then yes, if they don't know about it then no. if its nagato at full health then he can beat them alone.

tobi with rinnigan would beat them all. He is stronger than nagato.

Eh when Jiraiya fought Nagato he only fought a few paths at a time, and the one in Yahiko's body (forget what its called... Tendo?) is the most powerful and he wasn't there. If all six were there from the start Jiraiya would have been slaughtered.

Konan is very strong too. They would have a ton of experience working together as well, almost as much as the Sannin would.

I think Konan/Nagato would win this. But other than that I agree with you. Deidara is too cocky and would make a stupid mistake. The sannin would tear him him apart the second he did. He got lucky underestimating Naruto, Kakashi, and Gaara. Tobi vs the three sannin would be interesting, since we haven't seen much of Tobi in battle. I don't think I can make a good prediction on that outcome for that reason.

Oro can easily summon Madara and knock any of them out of the park, all he needs is someone to cover him while he does that and thats where Jiraiya and Tsunade come in, once Madara is summoned Oro and Tsunade can cover Jiraiya while he goes to SM. After Jiraiya is in SM and Madara is summoned Tsunade can work on healling any of them that are hurt while the other one covers for them. Edo Tensei is a major factor here because Madara has a better sharingan than Itachi and also has the Rinnegan to out do Nagato, even Nagato at full strength. And lets not forget the Mokuton either cause as Kabuto said, both he and Oro were working on Edo Madara.

Sannin > Deidara Sasori
Sannin > Kisame Itachi (high difficulty)
Sannin > Hidan & Kakuzu
Sannin > Pain & Konan

Yeah, Madara is just the strongest one he has since hashirama and tobirama got sealed in his fight with the third.

Best just to summon one so that he still has the chakra fight easily and doesnt get exhausted too soon. Though he could summon Hanzo in addition to Madara, probably the two strongest he has access too.

yes sannin will surpass any Akatsuki pair unless u pair up any mix and match like Tobi and Pain together... Although ORO will give them tough time with his Edo summoning but I tink Pain and Tobi will win....

Tobi will simply suck up Tsunade and then all that is left is Jiraya and ORO
Dont knw how it will turn out cos if Tobi dies Pain will bring him back. and Pain can simply crush them with chibaku tensei. or d dragon soul thing and that's d end
