But they also say that gaara is the leader of the army ! It's in the end when they show spoilers and stuff...

Isn't A the leader , and Gaara the leader in 4th division?

Gaara is regimental commander, meaning the commander on the field next to also mainly commanding the fourth division, but A is the supreme leader. At least that's what it says in the wiki.

no in the manga and in anime garra is the "general" of the troops out in the field A is the commader in chief

by the way in the manga temari adressed shikamaru as the "4th division's proxy general" since gaara is the general of the all 5 divisions. in the anime that part was skipped, I was actually expecting that U_U
