tbh I started out liking Itachi, but after he was revealed to be a good guy his swag turned to instant suckage imho, Here was this mysterious guy who's eyes you couldn't look at, and his water clones exloded, Itachi was hard not to like.
After his fight with Sasuke, Itachi went from being one of my favorite naruto characters, to just another cliché good guy, and he's completely forgotten about his water element. His fight in part 1 made him seem so amazing, his every move was a friggin speed feat, but now all he does is spam MS, and his character seems like nothing more than plot developmental device/character now.
It seems like anytime a villain is too strong, Kishi's plan is to send in Itachi to bump them off with super hax crap to move the plot along, First Orochimaru has Sasuke, convenient Totsuka blade to the heart, Nagato is about to use Chibaku tensei, Totsuka blade to the heart, now he's even about to get rid of Kabuto.
All his moves revolve around crap that he could've used to save the ninja world long ago, KA, Tsukiyomi, Izanami and his spiritual weapons are conveniently never thought of until a villain gets too much power, I find it hard to believe that he's never found a use for Izanami until now, and given everything he has in his possession, Tobi should be Long dead.
He just throws Narutoverse's little universe outta wack for me, seriously, there's no way he couldn't have prevented all of what's going on in this entire war ARC, he has the ,skillz, knowledge, power, and toolz, yet we're just now hearing about Izanami... sorry for the mini rant, had to get this off my chest
