these two are itachis worst matchups. deidara trained his left eye to counter genjutsu and genjutsu plain wont work on sasori. deidara will take to the skies and drop landmines on the battlefield while sasori protects himself with iron sand. using iron sand world order itachi and kisame get pinned down surrounded by poison and 100 puppets, then sasoris puppets sacrifice themselves to deliver C4 bombs like how sai's brother had diedaras clay inside him in the war. puppets would make the perfect suicide bombers. no way can itachis susano withstand bombs from every direction, as well as the nano kind which susano wont block as they are too small. sure with sharingan he can see them coming but he has no means of escaping from world order anyway. this is alive itachi so its not like he can rely on yata for very long.

troll. i reckon sasori vs kisame would go to sasori as i dont see kisame dodging the 100 puppets tech plus posion and the 3rd kazekage, and i dont think his infused samehada mode would save him from a posion a sophisticated as sasoris plus his water tech would be uneffective as the ones that rely on force wouldnt do much as sasori would just get blown apart and reform and the ones that rely on drowning the opponent wouldnt work as sasori and his puppets dont require oxygen because they are puppets not actually living animals. also i doubt samehada would be andy use as sasori would be well out of its range and because kisame has shown no great feats off speed i doubt he'll be able to dodge 100 puppets, plus the 3rd kaze kage especially when he has to be on constant look out for poison.

for deidara and itachi i reckon it could go either way depending on how smart deidara plays it i mean if he immediatly flies up into the air and hides inside the C2 dragon while he gets a clone to throw bombs downward incase itachi uses amaterasu this combined with the fact that i reckon his dragon would be easily fast enough to dodge itachis other long range attacks such as the yasaka magatama or his fire jutsu means i dont really see itachi winning it (stamina has always been his weakness so he wont be able to keep susanoo up for very long, nor will he be able to spam amaterasu like sasuke does) also deidara having lost to itachis genjutsu before wont look into his eyes and will probably look at his feet or something. however it deidara plays it stupid or lets his emotions get the better of him itll probably be a quick death for deidara, also the outcome of the fight is largely dependant on the setting of it because if its in an open field deidara will have a much easier job than if it was in a forest or some other cramped space.

so overall i think this battle could go either way but i think deidara and sasori have a much better chance of winning it, altough it will probably be with extreme diff with one of them probably dieing in the process and the other nearly dieing

also it really depends on how powerful izanami turns out to be

I think genjutsu is out of the question here since Deidara trained his eye in order to counter Itachi's genjutsu, and Sasori is a puppet, his body is fake so genjutsu won't work on him.

I give this to Deidara and Sasori with high difficulty.
