Everything they do is connected to the main character. Everything Hinata do or think is directly connected to Naruto, its the same with Orihime and Ichigo. They are both completely one-dimensional characters.

The same goes for Sakura everything she does is eather connected to Sasuke or Naruto well mostly Sasuke.
But i dont think that is bad or somthing but that dosent mean the they are noth worthy as a character and we are speakin about the mai characters almost everything is connected to them.

She has feats that arent connected to them. Healing Kankuro, destroying Pain summon or analyzing Zetsus DNA for shinobi allied forces. She isnt one dimensional character.

Well she is a medic nin of cours she does that and you mean Hinata hasnt done but helping Naruto well if we go by the filles that would be a long story
but i wont I just say one example Hinata is fighting the whit the streaght to protect Neji and others but we dont know much about hinatas feats because kishi didnt showe much but what he has shown wasnt so bad.
And I this discussion isnt about feats but who is better suited for the job not only successes.(for example pesonality,attitude...)

hinata was originally designed to be a civilian or something when naruto was first being designed...she was never going to be the heroine. when the creators suggested making sasuke and sakura aka rival/best friend and love interest to naruto...thats their roles. kishi created sakura after that and he decided to make her the heroine (though sometimes she can come off bipolar). she is very outshined by other characters like naruto, sasuke, and shikamaru because of all their op power. i think sakura does awfully good for a character thats just suppose to be human..kind of like rock lee{(though hes stupid as hell). i like sakura as a character

Only, she did what Suna medics, including Chiyo couldnt do - extracted poison and made antidote for it.

I think that being one dimensional character is also big factor. As for now, Hinata is only romance fodder, nothing more. I cant imagine character like her being main heroine.

No first Kishi created Sasuke and Naruto and the later he put Sakura between.

I personally think Sakura is a complete waste of screentime because she sucks at controlling her feelings and she lets it get the best of her. Hinata should have gotten that wasted screentime. Sakura is a very big bitch who just obsesses over Sasuke like hes some god or something. All she does in situations is cry cry and CRY!!!

I personally HATE Sakura, she is so obsessed with Sasuke, all she can do is cry, and that annoys me as hell. She shouldn't be the main heroine. I don't like Hinata much either, but she is cooler than Sakura

Na shes fine as it is. Kish pushed all the other charecters aside in this war so we don't see much of her. Team 7 is modeled after the sannin (well other way around but thats who they are supposed to relate too) so it wouldn't make sense to have hinata be on narutos team instead. Plus it would ruin the whole story becuase no love triangle means no naruto promising to get sasuke back ect ect. Sakura was useless in first series true but she is kick ass in shippuden. The problem is kishi barely shows her ever.

I still like Sakura (loved her during her fight against Sasori), but I wish that Kishi developed her character better. She was awesome, and then just kind of faded away.
She needs to be a main character of course, even if not considered the main heroine-Hinata has earned that far more.
